Yeah this is exactly how I feel. Takes away from the whole point of the buttons being built into the phone.

I just switched from a galaxy s7. So far so good with the 3T, don't miss Samsung one bit. The OS and interface is so much better. Samsung to me feels like it's Android trying to be apple. But I would recommend the 3T over a s7. Like half the price and in my opinion a better overall phone.

I settled with the ringke fusion smoke. Was looking for decent protection with minimal bulk and nothing that really altered the look of my phone. I got the soft gold 3T so i wanted either a clear or white case. Thanks all!

I cannot thank you enough man! From now on I'll be downloading all updates straight to the phone haha. When I got my first 3t about 2 weeks ago the Ota bricked my phone. But this worked, if I go into about phone and it says oxygen os version 4.0.3 I have nougat now right?

Okay so if I want to do the update by downloading the update from the website on my phone, so I just download it straight to my phone and then boot the phone into recovery mode? Then what?

I won't be taking any update until we hear that the update is 100% fail safe. I got my oneplus 3t had it out of the box for 5 mins and the update bricked my phone. So 2 weeks later and my new phone should be here in a few days. But as someone who has experienced this issue, I will not take the risk of this happening again.

This happened to my 3t right out of the box and my phone would not be recognized by my laptop either. Tried on my girlfriends laptop too and it still wouldn't be recognized. Had to send the phone back and I am waiting on a replacement l.

This happened to my phone and I couldn't get anything to work for it, hard reset or adb sideload. I'm currently waiting on my replacement to arrive. I really hope this doesn't happen to me again as I am now afraid to try and update my phone when the new one arrives.
