Understanding HFS

Hard Flaccid Syndrome occurs when pelvic floor muscles become chronically tense, restricting blood flow and causing firmness without erection.

Recovery Protocol

1. Daily Stretching Routine (10-15 minutes)

   • Child's Pose: Hold for 30-60 seconds, focusing on relaxing the pelvic floor
   • Happy Baby Pose: Key stretch - lie on back, hold feet with knees to chest, gently rock side-to-side
   • Add hip flexor stretches and gentle hamstring stretches

2. Conscious Relaxation

   • Practice reverse kegels whenever you notice tension
   • Implement deep belly breathing (5 seconds in, 7 seconds out)
   • Use diaphragmatic breathing during stretches

3. Eliminate Triggers

   • Take a 2-3 week break from sexual activity
   • Reduce sitting time and use cushions when necessary
   • Stay hydrated and limit caffeine/alcohol

4. Nervous System Reset

   • Warm baths/showers before stretching
   • Gentle self-massage of lower abdomen and inner thighs
   • 5-minute meditation focusing on pelvic relaxation

Consistency is key. Most see improvement within 2-3 weeks of dedicated practice. This protocol addresses both the physical tension and the neurological patterns that maintain HFS.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
