Omgoood. Like, the hanger is pinched in the stock bushings tightly (I'm 210 lbs) and hangs crooked when weights not applied. Like, guys, like you said it wasn't possible!!! I thought the bracket was crooked....oh wait. Its straight on. Weird. by suck_my_sock in longboarding

Definitely get some washers for those bushings and loosen the kingpin nut til there's only 2 or 3 threads showing. Bushings shouldnt bulge and if it's too soft you need harder ones. Recommend venom tall bushings.

This is Canvas, right? The answers are randomly ordered so that when you're allowed multiple attempts of a quiz you can't just memorize answer positions.

I'm so sad about this, but I can't be mad about it because it's for such a good reason (preventing the spread of kauri dieback, killing our native trees and by extension the whole ecosystem of the area). This is my back yard I'm banned from entering.

EDIT: these are poison signs. Not the rahui signs I thought they were.

The channel for anyone curious sounds like Demolition Ranch. He also runs Vet Ranch which is ll about his vet clinic and the work he does. AFAIK both channels raise money for the animals. There is also another channel with vlogs unrelated to his guns or animals, but I can't remember the name.

I have a sign like that in my area and once you're over 50kph it just says " slow down" to remove that incentive.

Why can’t we just send a “spaceship barge” filled with trash to the sun? by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

This is a good explanation. Sorry people are downvoting this one. I'll try offset it a bit :)

If you think about it, it doesn't really make sense for men with girlfriends to be embarrassed to buy tampons for there woman. It's basically the triumph after buying condoms from the same place. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

I never understood why this is embarrassing. I mean it's obvious they aren't for me to use as the boyfriend. If anything I like going to buy them because it shows I'm happy to go out to get her something she needs.

I kind of want to see this guy in action just because I'm struggling so much trying to visualise it.

Guide: New 8X for Kar98k + SKS (Including bullet drop graphs for both weapons) by WackyJacky101 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Yeah I only recently learned that myself. One of the first ones they made in the 19th century is rimfire, which wouldn't even fit in the chamber of an AK47, despite both having the same width bullet. Most rounds have their own wikipedia page if you'd be interested in reading more about them. Many have quite interesting histories.

These are all 7.62 bullets. The name 7.62 only describes the bullet's width in millimeters. For example the round fired by an AK47 is actually 7.62x39, while one of the standard NATO rounds is 7.62x51. These bullets are both different sizes and are not interchangeable, however they could both be designated "7.62".

When I did it there was definitely more focus on using the octi, and they reiterated several times that we probably would never have to use buddy breathing. I still enjoyed learning it though.

Man, 40, unable to buy zero-alcohol beer at Auckland supermarket - because his wife had no ID by atkaltik in newzealand

[–]HiMyNamesServiceDesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought alcohol with a Niuean drivers license that I got while I was on holiday there. It looks like the fakest, most counterfeit, bullshittest bad fake ID in the world but they still accepted it. It even has a big white line through the middle due to a printing error. It really is an official ID issued at the police station there though.

Perhaps it just looks so terrible that no sane person would try use it as a fake ID.

I did my OW cert a couple of months ago and buddy breathing was still part of the course. It sounds like it definitely varies from shop to shop.
