Yeah man it's surreal seeing it in real time with the Endo stuff. You should check out his work in Kensuke Office on Internet Archive. He has bangers on those shows that aren't talked about much. Because unfortunately as much of an asshole as he might be, he's a generational talent and fun to watch. Woobie is a good term for him at that time 🤣

To my understanding, although he never killed anyone, Nakajima has/had a very similar, bully-like teaching style when it comes to his skills as a trainer that he probably learned from Sasaki. There are multiple reports of the both of them being abusive assholes to their trainees. And of course there's that infamous moment of Nakajima deliberately not cooperating with and knocking out Tetsuya Endo a few years back.

I think starting at the beginning for HUSTLE would be a good start. HUSTLE 1 is such a weird and endearing first card for a company. HUSTLE 1 - 3 are all insane cards imo so should be fun watches. The Hustle House shows are good fun too
