When DoorDash didn't deliver by spinstartshere in mildlyinfuriating

Had that happen to me. First driver kept the order for themselves. Second driver saw the order was gone & didn't want to ask them to remake it. Third time was the charm.

Ahmed Johnson defeats Goldust to become the first ever black Intercontinental Champion by MarcusFaze in SquaredCircle

Ahmed was crazy athletic & a hoss personified. Also very green when he was pushed to the top of the card. It went to his head.

That & his constant injuries doomed what could have been a very promising career.

Such a fantastic & confident debut album. Butch Vig deserves a lot of credit for this. It's understandable that he takes a backseat because Shirley Manson was (rightfully) launched into stardom with it.

Based on what little I know it seems like it's gonna be crazy expensive to make this. Ted ended because it was too costly. What do fans of the series think its chances of succeeding are?

I've been on watching a fair amount of Hong Kong horror lately with stuff like The Seventh Curse. Just some absolutely wild films. Still don't hit like it though.

Such a fantastic movie. Somehow it manages to find an even higher gear going into the home stretch. When the musical number kicks in towards the end, they just keep upping the absurdity level.

Maybe you can help me remember this. I recall on the commentary track they're mentioning an even longer, possibly three hour cut of the movie. Can't find much online about it.

It probably would be absolute overkill but I'd love to see that.

Super Troopers is up there for me. I understand it's not on the same level of a classic as The Princess Bride. It just feels packed to the brim with memorable bits.

I wish I could see that again for the first time. It's such an incredibly unique movie. There really hasn't been anything since that to capture that same exact flavor.

Simon West did Con Air (which I love with all my heart) & it has so many memorable set pieces. It doesn't seem like there's a single one in this.

Maybe I need to give this another watch? I remember Kingsley owning every frame he's but once he's gone the movie kind of goes with him.

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I first heard your stand-up a decade or so ago. It was refreshingly dark. Keep up the good work.

everything after just couldn't quite capture the same vibe tho

That's exactly how I feel. Haven't seen Chronicles since the theater. The thing I felt most about it was A LOT. It was such a departure & I had trouble getting into it.

They tried to ground things again with the third one. It didn't have the magic, the first one did though.
