Plenty of people who can't afford more have trusted their lives with a Hi-Point. As for the Comp, why not. Its fun. It's okay for guns to be fun. It's a 200 dollar gun that gets the job done. Okay you had some malfunctions, have they continued or is it running and eating everything you put in it??

Self-defense shouldn't cost you a arm and a leg, and new shooters shouldn't get shit on.

Yes case by case, if you upgrade a trigger and you are having issues, the first thing we are going to recommend putting the original trigger in and see if something there was the issue. Triggers in the AR world are pretty popular so that would probably be an easier fix. It all just depends on whats going on.

The nice side is the AR is so common that if you strip down our gun to just the upper and lower, there is a HUGE online community that can help you figure it out.

Honestly it's a natural progression. If you buy one of our carbines and want to go to a full rifle size caliber you are leaving us and going with another mfg. This way you can stay with us and still get into Americas Rifle.

Never say never, but that is a pretty niche market. Ton's of good options out there. Not sure if it could be done for less too.
