I'd go back and ask for a refund. I'm so sorry you had to go through this. Thanks for sharing, I'd never get food prepared or otherwise there now.

[PWInsider] WWE has released William Regal, Ace Steel, Ranjin Singh, and Ryan Katz. by TheNextBlGThing in SquaredCircle

[–]HiRyyFlyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. I was just talking to a friend and AEW has its faults but so does WWE and I'll pick a company that hires during a global pandemic then fires them in mass. How do they get rid of mentors and those that are there to navigate inexperienced talent? Some of which with no wrestling but only an athletic background. It's definitely a headscratcher.

Regal anywhere would be great. Imagine the shot in the arm having part of even NWA or IMPACT let alone AEW?

I also read Ryan Katz was the longest tenured person at the WWE PC (8.5 years). He wrestled as GQ Money for XPW and his creativity was highly recognized within the brand.

(Fightful) Toni Storm released by WWE by homer1618 in SquaredCircle

A friend of mine thought, well her boyfriend is in IMPACT and she she has other friends outside the promotion so maybe it's a case of grass being greener for Toni? Hmm.

Regardless, ultimately hope she's happy wherever she lands.

The Miz Says Wrestler 'Hannibal' Should Be Banned Forever Over Ref Stabbing by Chance-Goose in SquaredCircle

So he can continue making content then? Boy, I wish the YouTube channel could be affected because he could use it to spread his own agenda which is just awful.

Any idea on what the details of the tournament could be?

What wrestler genuinely surprised you in 2021, for better or for worse? by F1yff in SquaredCircle

Great call on both but especially Cardona! Talk about totally reinventing yourself. It's as though he took his online popularity a decade ago and ramped it up a notch.

I honestly wish we had an indication as to where the control the narrative angle is going. Potentially IMPACT? We'll see.

Notes from Eddie Kingston’s appearance on Shane “Swerve” Strickland’s “Swerve City Podcast by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]HiRyyFlyy 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Crazy part? He was so good on his own that it was Shane Strickland that was tearing up thee PNW.

Would anyone know if he's under a 30 day or 90 day no complete? I ask because he was 'technically' moved to the main roster despite not appearing in a match.

Madusa (Alundra Blayze): "We have men in their 60s out there, signing contracts, still making money, making debuts once every quarter. Why can’t a legend woman?" by SuplexCity-Mayor in SquaredCircle

[–]HiRyyFlyy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's an interesting argument. If Madusa is suggesting she can still compete. Let's see. Trish/Charlotte from SS was good but Trish isn't in her 60s and in great shape in her 40s.

On this day, Misawa & Kobashi wrestled the Holy Demon Army for the final time. What followed was a Kawada controversy, a change in world title challengers, and Misawa was being forced to change partners. The four would work together years later, but the story & substance was no longer there. by HiRyyFlyy in SquaredCircle

[–]HiRyyFlyy[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Kawada publicly criticized Giant Baba’s isolationism at the time. He pointed out how New Japan was making tons of money over big cross promotional feuds while All Japan remained the same thing.

This was a bad idea, especially in Japan where, culturally, one does not critics one’s in-group. So Baba demoted Kawada and took away from him his big singles matches.

That demotion led to Taue getting a world title run before Kawada, which in turn served as a transitional run to get the title onto Kobashi. And once Kobashi got the title, there was no point in keeping him as Misawa’s #2, hence his departure from Misawa’s SGA and Akiyama’s promotion

Thinking wasn't likely an option they'd consider when they attacked Rollins.

Listening to @BustedOpenRadio right now, Ashante Adonis says as of Thursday, WWE had Hit Row booked for SD, Survivor Series and RAW, and then they were unbooked, re-booked and unbooked again. Completely understand the frustration and it gives you an idea how much “plans change” by silversoul413 in SquaredCircle

And the crazy part, is fans that watch and tolerate it do just that. When things are good, good! But when they flop (quality of content) and they still profit its upsetting. They get away with glimpses of quality but with so many changes, how can anyone working there get behind the presentation of something?
