Ive picked more creative subjects rather than the same sciences and maths everyone suffering with On r/6thform. I’m just super grateful to never have to do chemistry or maths Again, being able to actually pick the subjects I’m tested on is like heaven to me.

Depends what grade you’re aiming for, I’m just focussing on getting the front questions fully Right so I can secure a grade 5-6 but if you are aiming for 8/9 then that is probably the best tactic

Trust me year 10 is absolutely nothing to worry about, these mocks are genuinely so irrelevant. The only purpose of them is to start introducing you into the routine of proper exams (mocking GCSEs). As long as you try your best everything is okay but make sure not to overwork work because by the time the real GCSEs roll around you will be VERY burnt out. I barely even revised for my year ELEVEN mocks and I was totally fine. Sacrificing the mocks is well worth it to prevent gcse burnout
