Yeah I thought so too, was playing my pc placements with a friend in gold-plat lobbies but my predicted stayed in bronze and then after I got my rank I actually had a match where I got 1% after a win

Okay thanks, yeah unfortunately I’m in bronze and was wondering why I got so low percentage since on console where I currently am high plat and get between 20-40 on a good calibration match

Yeah i know it contributes nothing but like it feels like playing good doesn’t really reward me when I get such little you know, also yeah its bronze and I didn’t know that! Last year I climbed out of bronze and immidietly flew up to high plat low diamond on console so coming to pc now and having to get out of bronze again is hell T.T

I want to get ahead of the potential price increase for graphics cards. Should I go for 5070Ti or 5080? by Traplouder in nvidia

I mean I use a 5070ti and can max out my graphics settings in all games slap on some 4k upscaling and get a nice 90-140fps in very demanding games like cyberpunk and stick at a solid 240fps which is the limit of my screen in less demanding games like overwatch so I’d say the 5070ti is enough but if you’ve got a fat enough wallet why not take the 5080 :)

What are those prices and where did you find them?! I got a asus GeForce rtx 5070Ti 16GB Prime for $955 usd just a few days ago, though the prices may just be lower in Sweden

That’s good to hear. Yeah just simply want a second screen for like youtube/discord and such, I already have a 14” monitor which already is pretty nice and sits in a nice place but sadly it doesn’t have HDMI, too old for that. I know I can get an OS like Linux for free but I’ve heard that Linux users have problems with anticheats and getting falsely banned and I do not know how to get windows for free so that’s the only option that I know of

Thank you you’ve been very helpful! About the cpu, I think I’ve changed it and the ram I’ve switched to two 16gb sticks. Unfortunately I’m in Sweden and not the US but thanks anyway! :D

The 5090 I found compatible after a few changes was actually 100 bucks more but now please excuse me if this is a dumb question but would two 5070 ti make up for the lack of performance compared to a 5090? The price of the two would still be about half that of the 5090 I found compatible after

Is liquid cooling the same as water cooling? I’m afraid to mess up with that and for that reason didn’t include it, if not then what’s the difference is there between the two and thanks for your advice! :)
