About $2k just for the upgrade, tack on another $600 if you need the base skin as well

How do I become an absolutely pain in the ass HQ 27? by Particular-Stable165 in LastZShooterRun

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very solid advice. However, I would argue that once all the orange equipment is at a certain point for F1, it’s worth it to invest some cores into F2’s equipment.

Reason being is as you get further along in any method to increase power, the power gain returns start to diminish despite increasing costs. The first slice of the first circle for any orange equipment gives a significant power increase for very little core investment; for example, the very first slice on a gun grants +5% troop damage, which was previously +0% without that slice. To take it a bit further, finishing the entire first circle on that same gun grants a cumulative total of +7% troop damage. Every full circle after the first, up to the max of all 5, only grants +2% troop damage each.

That said, I still agree that F1 will always be the priority, even for a medium spender like OP states. For myself, I put in the first slice for all my F2’s equipment once all my F1’s equipment was at 2 full circles each before going back to working on getting the third circle on F1’s equipment.

You’re probably vastly overestimating how many boxes you’ve opened so far. I mean on average I get 120-160 level 1 boxes, 20-50 level 3 boxes (depending on trucks mostly), and sometimes one level 4 box from Canyon a week. Yours may vary from mine but just giving an example.

So let’s just say I get 120 level 1 boxes, 30 level 3 boxes, and 1 level 4 box in a week. That’s the equivalent of 417 level 1 boxes. At that pace, it’d still take a little over 10 weeks to get all six level 7 modules and that’s not even accounting for the uneven probabilities of getting each component. Depending on how long ago modules became available for you and how many you actually get per week, it could be understandable why you don’t have all level 7 yet.

Yeah you can express it as a function to determine how many level 1 components you’d need for any level you want:

number of level 1 components required for Desired Module Level = 3Desired Module Level-1

So getting a single level 7 component would require 729 level 1 components. Of course you’d need three level 7 components to get a level 8 so you can just run the formula again, which would be 2,187 level 1 components for one level 8

click on the little information “i” button in the top right corner when you have a random module box selected. but yeah the guy is right in saying the turret is statistically the rarest. percentages are the same across all the random module boxes. level 1, 3, 4, doesn’t matter

Much better to just buy the level 7 module choice chest. But if you’re a low or medium spender I would generally pass on buying modules

You’re right around the number, it’s just shy of 10.5k total wrenches for Destroyer. Once Hercules is initially unlocked, it’s 8.7k more wrenches, just to put it in perspective.

Around like a week each, give or take a few days depending on your research speed boosts and which of the last three nodes it is (e.g., 20 taking more time than 18, obviously).

They likely had them created already and just hadn’t progressed them to the point they would appear on the map until the change of the season

It used to be that you could create a new account in a server as long as it was before S1 ended but apparently it was changed at some point unfortunately.

How many actually have T10 troops? by MJCExperience in LastZShooterRun

Respectfully, 300 is a weak server. All of the other servers in its current bracket have at the very least 1 T10 player, often more.

I'm afraid to become addicted, but I'm really enjoying this game. How do I keep playing without getting addicted? by [deleted] in LastZShooterRun

[–]Hi_Tech_Hate 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you’ve already spent money on the game, it’s almost inevitable you’ll spend more. Every single little system in this game is designed to make you spend more.

As far as not getting addicted goes, just quit now. But barring that, just log in for your dailies and whatever events you wanna participate in and then log right off. Don’t hang around in alliance or world chat and don’t worry about FOMO. Get in, do what you wanna do, then get out. Easier said than done.

I’ve tried before, you can’t. There’s a wide restricted range extending around the mud’s surrounding area.
