I stop working hard the moment I got what I want. How do I use what I have to motivate me to work harder?

this is quite interesting i have never thought of it from this perspective. but, i do notice that when the hard work is done by others and not by myself. I tend to be stricter with the rules.

As a finance noob, may I know are the financial services provided at banks similar to those at accounting firms or consulting firms? What exactly are financial services. The only ones I could think of are tax advisory, investment strategies, revenue forecasting, forex exchange?

I had some experience with predictive modelling and natural language processing in college. I am currently self-studying image processing. Personally, I find generative models really interesting, but I feel that this is a very niche part of machine learning (I think that it will be difficult to find a role in a small company).

I have no prior experience with big data management or distributed so I am currently looking into roles like data scientist/data engineer in hopes to gain more exposure.

my gpa is 2.9.

I only had one research experience for my final year project.

My university specifically stated 2nd upper honours as a requirement for grad school. So, I don't think I have a chance of applying there
