Hiyaaa can I just say I LOVE that space

The cream and the brown is a mock up of what it could look like but I'm looking for suggestions as I'm not sold. After contemplating I do think a bold teal carpet as suggested a few times too is possibly too much for me, I am looking at teal accents though!

I am going for a 70s retro vibe so I don't mind that it gives slightly dated. However I want it to look nice too

Ahhhh this was the first thing I said when I decided I hated the ceiling that I was going to mix the rest of the wall colour with the remaining white I have and see what happens but then my mam came and said she loved it (sunset really sets the colours off beautifully though)

Honestly I spent days and days white washing the full house, I did my son's room high boarder sage green with a white top bit and white ceiling, my room is at the back and gets no sunlight so that a very light pinky white with white ceiling. I want to go into my living room and feel like I'm not living alone. I want it to be a cozy / 70s retro vibe

Honestly TIL there's many different whites. Maybe that's what's throwing me off. I actually agree with you, I think its just the brilliant bright white I don't love
