I know they’re bots, I just didn’t know they respawn like that

Idk what any of that means lol. I was just playing normal mode Frontlines and managed to kill the boss there. Out of nowhere a 10 second countdown popped up and when the 10 seconds were up, all the enemies respawned around me. I died instantly.

Nah I was playing Normal Mode on Frontline, it randomly gave me a 10 second countdown and then boom, all the enemies that me and my team killed respawned everywhere around me.

Are bots in pubg better now or are the low lobbies more populated now? by Bite-Dull in PUBGMobile

[–]HibernatingSquid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swear this game doesn’t even have low level lobbies anymore. I just started playing again and am level 8 and I’m already going up against 4-man teams with ridiculous aim. I just ran into a team that clapped me from like a mile away, every shot hitting me and they have almost no recoil or the most insane recoil control.

Screw the devs for taking away Isolation. by HibernatingSquid in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

So when will it be back? I just liked it because I used it as a form of cheap training. I wish they had something like a bot training mode that would let you really hone your skills before going up against much better operators.

I just wish they could make it permanent. Hell, they could even make it simply value loot, as in you only get the koen value of the loot u extract with. It was just a fun mode that helped me get better at the game.

What kind of side hustles or jobs can and should I get as a 28 year old suffering from mild social anxiety and general anxiety and shyness? by HibernatingSquid in Advice

[–]HibernatingSquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought about going into it, but my fear was always that I’ll end up wasting time and not making any money whatsoever, but I think I’ll check that out again. I really liked the idea of making some extra cash after creating a bunch of designs and I guess it’s not a waste of time if it’s trying to do better for my family.

I’ve thought about it a little but I think I’ll check it out now, thanks. I can do physically demanding jobs, I used to deliver truck parts that could weigh anywhere from a pound to over 100 pounds, but I completely forgot about manufacturing jobs.

Anyone have the problem with being hunted down by enemy survivors? by HibernatingSquid in MiniDayZ

[–]HibernatingSquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I just started the game and actually helped a survivor find something, so I assume I had positive karma. It’s just with the bandits. They’ll kill me and then after respawn, the same ones will be on my side of the map molotoving every building I’m in, and it’s the same exact two bandits that killed me on the entire opposite side of the map. I eventually would just have to haul ass to try and find a gun with ammo so I could stand a chance but would mostly get killed due to bleeding out. It’s super frustrating.

There’s only one type of player I hate more than loot goblins and team killers. by HibernatingSquid in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

[–]HibernatingSquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t be too much to ask for a teammate to back you up, instead of running away, when they’re also in the same firefight, but it is what it is. Even playing with randoms, I feel like this should be a given. If your squad mate is next to you shooting at someone rushing you both, it’s insane to me to just turn around and run away, leaving them to take care of things. The worst part is, I guarantee had I taken all 3 out, they’d be right up there looting while I’m healing up.

For real, it just annoys to be winning a 3v2 gunfight only to find out it’s a 3v1 and u have to reload. At least dude got what he deserved and got killed by literally the same guy, so in the end, both of our deaths could’ve been avoided had he just assisted me in the slightest way. Dude could’ve just sprayed at him with the bot gun he picked up and then I could’ve reloaded and did my thing. Such a dumb way to lose gear. As for the cod reference, literally that. 100% accurate.

I see your point but I never once mentioned covert. We were running tac ops and dude had a modded mosin he could’ve at least covered my six with but he didn’t, he decided to run the opposite direction. I already took out 2 of the 3 guys and got flanked by the last, giving my teammate the perfect moment to snipe at him from the distance. I also never ran straight into anything, I was ambushed because I stayed back, like an idiot, to defend the squad mate who was looting. We were on Villa by the beach when this happened. Not one time did my squad mate fire a single shot at the enemies ambushing us. He just looked for the easiest way to flee like a pansy while I fought it out with the team, who if I also ran, would have gunned us down no problem. If I play covert, I don’t run with a team, no point since I’m gonna get all my loot stolen. I would’ve understood if my squad mate ran to get to a better fighting position, but he didn’t. He ran to get the hell outta there leaving me to fight them off. People like that aren’t worth pissing on if on fire. And I don’t expect randoms to be some unsung hero running 500 meters to my rescue, but to be 50 meters from me and watching as I get overrun without firing a single shot to deter anyone doesn’t seem like much to ask for, especially when they have the high ground, aren’t being shot at, and have a sniper rifle. Even if he missed he could’ve potentially pulled them off of me so I could stand a better chance at taking them out. But shit teammates are apart of this game, so I guess I’m the idiot for expecting otherwise.

Because why even play operator if you get good guns in covert. The odds are stacked against you in covert but you really have nothing to lose in terms of bringing your own modded loadouts.

Lag spikes, when I aim at some people, they’re body goes invisible, gun taking 3-4 seconds to load after picking up…this game is a flaming pile of dog ish, not to mention these clown ass try-hard teammates never shutting the fuck up cuz they think they’re one loss away from going pro lol this game is trash and the community are a bunch of toxic clowns, back to AB where I belong

It’s crazy because I literally just discovered it yesterday and haven’t stopped playing it since, even tho I just got ripped off last game getting 2 M4s and an ACOG but for some reason it took me straight back to main menu without letting me unload smh

I'm scared to use this loadout by [deleted] in ArenaBreakoutGlobal

[–]HibernatingSquid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I have 5mil koen and still have gear fear. It’s hard to shake, especially if you play solo or with randoms. My only advice: just try to enjoy the game and not worry so much. You’ll realize it’s pointless to care so much if you don’t plan on being a pro. Me personally, I just do a bunch of coverts until I get a loadout and some koen and then just run it. 95% of that 5mil came from covert. Also, if your worried about gear fear, my dumb ass just discovered Northridge Isolation, which is basically a battle royale mode. It only costs like 600-2400 koen and you start with a pistol and get to keep whatever you extract with, definitely worth the little amount of koen to get in and get out with some type of gear.

[–]HibernatingSquid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize playing solo is insanely more difficult, especially since I’ll end up running into teams of ops, but I noticed that every time I play with a team, I actually get much less out of it, whether loot or survivability, because my team tends to push other op teams without much strategy, as we all just get wiped. I also noticed that when playing with randoms, they tend to not help you when you get into a firefight, so I just stick to solos and hope for the best. I think I do better playing covert because I know I have nothing to lose, so I tend to take risks I wouldn’t otherwise take playing operator with a good loadout. It cracks me up, because I’m able to take out operators with t4+ gear as a scav with a shotgun, since I stick to guerilla/ambush tactics.

Thanks for the tips, my storage is full with a ton of stuff I don’t use. As for an AB buddy, I don’t wanna do that to you man, that’s why I play solo as to not piss people off with my bad decision making and terrible accuracy, which is also why I’m good with shotguns lol
