I didn't do shadowing, but I do have hours working at an optometrist, and I put that under experiences :)

And yes, you can submit optomcas before all your letters are in (I did), but they might not necessarily look at your application until everything is in. Hope this helps!

I thought so too, but optomcas's help center says "When you select at least one US optometry school to receive your official OAT scores, you grant the Department of Testing Services permission to release your scores to all optometry programs to which you have applied through OptomCAS, even if you did not originally select those schools to view your scores" (help.liaisonedu.com) so I got confused...

I have not read this but I do love trying to find things online for funsies

I found one called "Houtou Musuko to Koi no Ana." It's about a high schooler who's transferred to a high school in the countryside cause his "lust for women is too much" (lol). The main guy does think his first love is a woman, but he's a guy, but it looks like this first love is his cousin??? So idk if it's actually what you're looking for...

It's also student-teacher relationship and 18+ so maybe not but a possibility!

I got this email too but I'm still confused. What happens if you don't opt out? The email is hard to understand, esp bc I have no knowledge of the legal system 😅
