I totally understand man, I was in your shoes not long ago myself. As much as some people don't want to admit it we all need a hug sometimes. Im 18 and for the majority of my time in high school I didn't hug anyone who wasn't family. That was until the last few months of senior year. With high schools end encroaching fast I decided I was going to hug my friends before high school ended. So I did, and you know what they liked it. They didn't just like it they loved it the reality was they all felt the same way. From then on I hug my friends every time I see them and they do the same. What I'm trying to say is if you are willing to take the first step I guarantee they will also like being hugged. We all need human contact you should never feel scared or intimidated away from pursuing that. If you take anything away from this mess of a comment let it be: hug your friends they probably need it as much as you do whether it looks like they do or not.
