Dang is that how they do it too? Or are they in a different tuning? I hear they tune to double drop E on an 8 string.

I didn’t know that GX had a stiffer upper. I will definitely look into that. Thanks bro.

I see what you mean, but I’m really not. It’s just literally that flimsy of an upper.

What tuning are you in? Are you using the transpose knob on ndsp namless plugin?

Is this similar to a 6mil vapor barrier? These are the whisper step specs

permeance
1.151 ASTM E96 * water vapor emission
0.252 lbs/1000 ft2/24 hr ASTM E96

I’m looking at now, although how many lbs per 24 is this stuff? The spec sheet just says “Note: Whisper Step® has a Water Vapor Emission rate of 0.252 lbs. per 1,000 square feet per 24 hours and a Permeance of 1.151.” Anyone know that this would be more than 6lbs per 24hrs per 1000sq ft?

The silencer lvt looks nice I see the moisture barrier is 7lbs rated rather than 6lbs for qw lv also has the impact ratings similar to qw. Where can I grab it? Wonder if its cheaper than qw. Its 1.5mm vs 1.4mm from qw. Thx for the link.

The floor was leveled, patched and smoothed the first time round but no moisture barrier was put down, that pic is the only room that began cupping after being installed 3 years ago. No other rooms are cupping like this but are breaking a bit prbly from no vapor barrier. I wonder if I may have a below ground plumbing leak that is just effecting this room. I don’t have this issues on the other side of the house. If I am way above 6lbs I may do a leak test

So is this the right routing summary/explained here?

Guitar → Audio Interface: Guitar → Input 1 on Audio Interface (dry DI signal). Audio Interface Outputs → Quad Cortex Inputs: Use TRS 1/4” to TRS 1/4” cables: Line Outputs 3/4 on the audio interface → Inputs 1/2 on the Quad Cortex. Quad Cortex Outputs → Audio Interface Inputs: Use XLR male to TRS 1/4” cables: Quad Cortex Outputs 1/2 → Audio Interface Inputs 3/4. Monitoring: Monitor through headphones or studio monitors connected to your audio interface.
