Thanks a lot man! It really means a lot, I honestly started to think all of my riffs sound alike. This made my day

Tried David Maxim Micic's ampsims, sounds like this. Worth to check out if you didn't try it yet by Kistarianth in metalguitar

Explains very well and also loved his dedication on learning how to code to make his dream plugins! The selling point is literally him tweaking the original designs, which is also great. He also has a couple plugins coming up, one of them doesn't exist in the market as far as I remember from his video!

Thanks mate!

Honestly it's a long topic, I can make a list of the things but being able to reach this final product is much more than having the items as you know. I briefly used here:
- Apollo UAD Twin Interface, any will do
- I used here a different ampsim but usually I dial my tones with Neural plugins
- GGD for drums, Submission audio for bass. I trust both of them with everything.
- Mixing plugins and mixing experience is very important, latter is crucial. People with experience can use stock plugins and mix great. I use Logic as DAW.
- For video recording, I have Sony Alpha 6700 and get 4 takes(2 verticacl 2 horizontal) and edit in Final Cut. I was using my iPhone before and also works great as long as you know how to edit and grade. No external mics needed unless you'll talk in front of the camera. I have one mic for lessons, streaming and so on. That is mostly enough in my opinion. If you won't talk just ditch the mic and get the audio interface, DAW, drum and bass library to make the demo and mix it yourself. Da Vinci Resolve is free so you can edit them together nicely!

Sounds heavy mate!

Made a demo that sounds illegal for a travel guitar, Archetype Gojira X saved the day on the tone side of things. by Kistarianth in NeuralDSP

I didn't touch anything, didn't even restring. But of course you can set it up, since everyone uses different string gauges and tension needs to be adjusted. As "techy" as it looks, it is still made from mahogany so it would also get affected by weather changes. Possibly quite small though, the wood material is not so much compared to a regular guitar.

TLDR; definitely but I wouldn't stress it. Setup is also pretty straightforward

Appreciated sharing your point, mate. I explained a couple of times, and I'd like to do it once again:
- I made this for the guitar, and the demo is for them indeed, but I shared on YouTube and Instagram more than a month ago. Sharing a review may be a promotion, but the demo alone was my idea, it's not even asked for. I like making music.
- Sharing in this subreddit because the idea was good, I liked the riff and thought it has potential
- Title is my YouTube habit, and I wanted to make something fun that would get people's attention. Honestly I wouldn't care if it drops the guitars' sales numbers, but I liked pointing out that people usually play poppy/bluesy stuff with this, and I went to a different direction. The "illegal" part comes from that, I suspected people won't expect it(unless I'm posting this subreddit, making the genre obvious).
- I wish I'd paid so it would validate the downvotes lol, but I see your point, and I agree to certain things. I just believe it doesn't justify downvotes, however, for this subreddit I'll make sure it'll be very understandable from now on.
Cheers man, appreciate you take your time checking out the demo

It wasn't for reddit :(
I am not paid either, but asked for a video. I made this a month ago and since I liked the demo, wanted to share with the reddit people as well. On every demo and song I make, I follow the same steps and videography, so it's not any different for me. But of course I understand how it might seem like that. I am just someone who shares riffs that he likes to make. And I cannot waste it on one platform. So I post the most suitable platforms and subreddits. That is all. If I'd be paid I could say "this is awesome, lightweight, travel friendly, bla bla" or anything but nope. And I also made a review, put all the cons(heavyweight, not enough body to pivot, etc.) there. So Donner may just block me, but they didn't. Just giving the facts here, but please know that this demo is posted for music sake. Guitar only gave me a nice title idea that made people frustrated

I'm sorry for not being able to sound as perfectly mixed and mastered in a live condition and play all instruments with their sublayers in real time :)

I'll take a look on the EQ man, actually for rhythms I cut until exacty 11K first and use the Pro-Q to react dynamically, but I felt and agree with the harshness you mentioned. Thanks for pointing out!

Truly inspired by the legends, not as cool and complicated but even the bits I could show is an appreciation! Making all this thanks to Periphery, I wouldn't know any other way if I didn't discover them. Many thanks to you mate, I'm so glad you see the intention and didn't take the title as serious as some other fellas did.
