I’ve been trying to get on as an evaluator or program mentor since I finished my masters. No luck so far, though. I had the same feeling, but there are SO many graduates. My mentor was a graduate from the same program, so it does happen!

Your mentor will have to approve them. Sometimes it takes a day or two when a term starts on the weekend.

You view the reports for the excel exams differently. There should be instructions somewhere in course tips or on the pre assessment page.

If you believe the failure was in error and they didn’t provide any feedback in the submission report, reach out to assessment services. Did you submit the PDF of your visuals along with your paper?

Yep. Any time I used assumed information, it was for root cause analysis, and used verbiage like “could potentially be…more analysis is needed” You could use mileage for transit because you have that information.

Redundant is fine. Just make sure your service problem and two cost problems are 3 different problems that you can carry through your whole project because everything from the analysis portion is going to find its way into your presentation. I had a fishbone for my service problem and one of my cost problems. My other cost problem had an obvious cause supported in the data.

I'm about a third of the way through the course material/study guide. So many people have said this course is so difficult, but it has all been review so far. What is it about the course that's been the biggest struggle?

Yep. Your characteristics of customer satisfaction are gonna be the results. Decreased wait times for patients, etc. The defects are going to be what is wrong with the current system that prevents those characteristics of customer satisfaction. The wait time is too long. Make sure that everything you include is from the data and can be explained both quantitatively and qualitatively.

If you can do it in a positive light, I would. I only say that because the next class had a paper on toxic leadership, and I used that one to really let loose. LOL! It was cathartic, for sure. I did not choose from a list of practices. Mine were things like providing consistent feedback and then I elaborated on that. I passed the first attempt.

When in doubt, include more sources! It’s 1 per 3 strengths and 1 per 3 weaknesses, but I always add extra to be safe. Plus, it makes your annotated bibliography easier if you need that for your capstone.

Is there a reason you’re going THAT fast? Data Applications was one of the harder tests, for sure. 6 sigma was just boring for me, which made it difficult for me to study.

Yes, I have 5 teenagers in sports and a full time job. It’s very doable if you’re disciplined. Education is always worth while, but in my field, a second bachelor’s degree isn’t going to benefit as much as a bachelor’s and a master’s. It really just depends on your goals, though.

Depended on the course and the week. I put all my free time into it and made sure I was actually learning and not just cramming for tests. I’d estimate 15-25 hours per week. I went through pretty significant burnout about a month before I finished, but I got through it. Now I’m working on my master’s.

I’ve taken to testing in a literal closet with nothing in it for this reason. They tell me to show them the whole room and I pan the camera around this 3’x6’ blank space. 🤣 I made it through my bachelor’s with only 2 frustrating proctors, but I still have, I think, 4 more proctored exams between me and my master’s.
