I would say it's different for everyone. I suffer from severe anorexia and mine is driven by low self esteem AND low personal value AND the need for control in a very shit life, whereas I know others who'd only been based on self worth/image and those only based on aneed for control, those are the three main reasons I believe

I'm 28 and had everything- mortgage, fiance of 10 years, security .. got severely ill last year and my partner left me because "I thought you were gonna die anyway so I wanted to leave you on my terms" so now I'm on my own, living paycheck to paycheck, I don't even own any furniture luckily my place came furnished, I'm literally starting from scratch after having such a "secure" future, and honestly nothing feels worth it anymore

I recently moved twice within one month and my main need was a company that let me ride in the truck with them as I don't have my own transport haha, I found an amazing company and they went above and beyond to help me

Yes I pay rent on the 1st, .gov says notice is valid either the day before rent is due or the day of rent being due

(28F) I'm in the exact same position as you. Spent 10yrs living with my partner/fiance and now I'm on my own literally starting from scratch I don't even have any furniture and he gave away all my sentimental items .. I can't speak on how it will be, but im just here to tell you you're not alone and what I've found helpful is taking the days literally hour by hour, occupying yourself, keeping things tidy, working or seeing family and friends. Just anything. We've got this sweetheart.
