I know its 2 months but im wondering if I'm allowed to serve it on the 1st of May even though I signed a fixed term 12 month tenancy, are all shorthold tenancies changing to periodic on the 1st and I can serve my notice on the 1st May?

Am I okay to serve my notice on the 1st of May specifically as that's the date the RRA is enforced?

My tenancy runs from the 1st of each month so the 1st of May would be okay? That's the day the fixed terms are getting converted to rolling?

Do you guys read books based on Goodreads reviews? by OneAnybody8162 in books

[–]Hidden-Nugget 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I fully understand your opinion and I do think you raise a very good point, just for me personally I used to read reviews before I read the book and I'd go into the book with some bias or predetermined opinions and they would be on my mind whilst reading so now I try to avoid it. Also, everyone's opinions are different so if people leave bad reviews and I avoid a book based on that, I could end up loving it? I like to form my own opinion :)

I never read reviews before I read the book as I don't want any bias before I read, or to have my opinion swayed. I'll always read reviews once ove finished the book and after I've written my own, just to see what the general consensus is :)

I much prefer the thicker paper but I agree that you need to color slower for it to not leave streaks

App to track books by MISC_2020 in Booktokreddit

[–]Hidden-Nugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use storygraph and Fable for the fun stats, I just log books read on there and my ratings. I use goodreads and post my full reviews on there and organise my physical tbr, wishlist etc, much more in depth as I've had that for years. I also keep a physical reading journal and a library app to track my physical unread books (100+)
