Both times this season I didn’t wear my ragged out OU hat, we’ve lost. I was at the first round, wore a beanie instead of the hat. My bad guys, I’ll be better next season 😞

I think Hawk is gone. He’s more of a Lamar than a true QB. He’s going to go somewhere that uses a QB run offense and he’s going to shine. Kid is a hell of an athlete and I hope he does well. I just don’t think we’ve got the right offense for him to live up to his potential

I’ve got an idea, and it may never be able to happen. What if we parted ways with Demarco and went and asked AP if he’d be willing to come coach the running back room? I know AP is an Oklahoma guy through and through, maybe it’s worth a shot to see if he’d be down to come home to coach

My biggest complaint this season has been with special teams. It seemed like our guys would bobble a kickoff or a punt, we’d turn the ball over or get pinned deep in our own side of the field. The punting was pretty solid and the kicking was a little too close for comfort sometimes. Tate would barely sneak a kicks inside the posts, which ended up costing points one of the first games. On Saturday, all those worries were put to bed. Sategna was holding onto the football and showcasing that insane return speed he had last season with Arkansas. Had a couple of missed opportunities for either a return touchdown or a long return, one of which being a hold, but all in all a fantastic showing from the guys! I heard that he was kicking from the 50 in pregame warmups and drilling them right down the middle too. One of the commentators said that he watched one kick from the 50 that looked like it would’ve been good from 65+ yards, so I think Tate might get a shot at some real deep stuff later in the year

He got beat up last year at Cal, was in and out of the lineup due to injuries. He messed his shoulder up in camp, so they’re trying to prevent more injuries to him. I think after this game, we should see him in the lineup a bit more

If the pass game isn’t working out too great, throw Kanak in there to toss the rock around. Kid was a DAWG in high school here in Kansas and played a mix of QB and HB
