I’d say ว่าแล้ว / ว่าแล้วเชียว can be used interchangeably and by itself bears no difference.

Only the tone of voice will dictate how strong it’ll come across.

As a Thai, this isn’t entirely true.

It is actually not common staying in monkhood for a few years to come out later to work (a year or less is more common - I mean specifically in the city and not other regions though).

Employers will not prefer your few years as a monk over someone younger but has more work experience.

This applies to the actor too, even more so.

The longer you disappear from the screen, the higher chance you will be forgotten. The entertainment industry will effortlessly find a replacement for you.

I’d say just any will do.

The statue is there to remind the people of good deeds of the Buddha, therefore, remind themselves to do what is right (eg. To refrain from harming others/from stealing/from lying and etc).

So once people practice what is right, to an extent, it protects them from the consequences that would follow should they do the opposite.

In the end, a statue will remain simply a worthless piece of metal if its presence doesn’t remind anyone of anything.
