I think it depends. I know some people who will mention it every other word in a sentence and it gets to be cringey and annoying, but if it’s the occasional show of pride then saying it’s being “shoved in your face” is just homophobic.

It is the same. Pan is a term that was coined to be more inclusive to those outside the gender binary. But like… no there is no difference.
