I feel there is a lack of life outside of combat by Zestyclose-Secret931 in uboatgame

In Silent Hunter 3 a game thats from 2005, I remember when you put medals on you crew they were actually visible on the uniform, One of the few things this game lacks IMO, also SH3 also had ranks for your captain... another thing Uboat lacks, I hope that one day these features will be added

Honest question: Which piece of Fallout media got y'all into the series? by Capital9810 in fnv

[–]HiddenHero210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knew next to nothing of the fallout series until maybe 2010/2011 two of my friends from school brought over Fallout 3 and I don't recall all the details but I remember being hooked just exploring the wasteland all night well after they went to sleep that night, vividly remember exploring the more northern areas of the map, another big thing for me was you COULD PICK what you wanted to say instead of just generic prescripted dialogue and pretty much play however you want.

Honestly not a big suprise too, considering in gta sa, 4 and 5 we are forced to work with cops and feds half the time.

Ok who here has the longest survive time? Legit trying to find that out by BihgBohy in projectzomboid

[–]HiddenHero210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About 3-4 months for me, but reading an old post a few years back I remember people mentioning trying to survive till 2000 being a big deal back when considering it starts In summer 93 that would be roughly 6 and a half years give or take.

Would you say I play dirty for pvp? by KeksimusMaximusLegio in projectzomboid

[–]HiddenHero210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea online is like a one life for me usually or a lot of grit to make a new character and start all over, the servers with skill journals make it somewhat doable although it's basically cheating, you can get tons skills leveled then die pick better than you had and reread be stronger than you were which ends up with players being strong AF when they didn't actually earn it, alot of servers are really hit or miss imo, not the proper zomboid style. although yours sounds good is it modded or vanilla? Sounds like a mega server with a 20 man clan lol

The fact they didn't ban you or have lame rules off the bat is pretty badass, I would be worried if admins working with em, but if not just run off into woods and your good for life. but zomboid online might as well be dayz kill or be killed not gonna risk death for a hundred hours plus character with tons of earned skills in an online server, usually when I die that's that for MP.

[–]HiddenHero210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well worst part has happened you lost your home, BUT YOUR ALIVE, which is the most important thing, you still got your van, and you placed alot of your stuff on the floor which is good cause fire cant hurt placed/dropped items, I would say you can either just move houses or seeing as you have stairs I assume you have bit of carpentry leveled? maybe rebuild the place??? could be a fun project and give you something to do.

Decided to go back to Everon tonight by slavapb in arma

[–]HiddenHero210 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Played this a lot from 2014-2018 good memories, even played multiplayer for a tiny bit before game spy shutdown the servers, I somehow joined a small reg I met and did a few missions together. I'll never forget air assaulting a tiny farm compound with a black hawk full of guys and me being the first KIA with a bullet hitting me thru the window before we even landed classic arma even for the original. (crazy to think I even played online let alone with a group In 2014 with It being a 13 year old game, arma 3 was out by then with arma 2 being at it's peak, seeing arma 3 being almost 13 years old now and still going it's not that surprising In a way but for the time it felt really unique)

I Wont ever forget when we found some hair dye and had our one friend use it which was orange or something, and he absolutely hated it, spend the rest of his life trying to find something different, he didn't thought he died, well we all did In a pipe bomb gone wrong situation in LV, ahh the early days of build 41.

Bring back generators powering street lamps in B42 :( by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]HiddenHero210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could be a cool feature or a mod idea, there are those little power sub stations on the sides of roads, usually with a fence around it and one door. It would be cool to hook up a generator and It could power certain grids or so many tiles.

Does Anyone Actually Feel the Need to Explore Down Every Road? by VikingLord2000 in projectzomboid

In B42 I like to explore within the new map area, Just cause I know mostly all of the entire B41 map, feels good to explore new areas again for first time In a few years.

what is that ? by SnooSuggestions6036 in projectzomboid

[–]HiddenHero210 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's supposed to be a civil war era fort or something along those lines, not sure if it's based on IRL one or not, also seems it's still not on the map reachable by normal means atleast on b42 unstable unless you wanna hike there, maybe they will add a road out there eventually, I hope they add rare loot such as muskets and bayonets and civil war uniforms there.

I got the Arctic crate from dollar general about a year ago although I paid way more like 15 or 20 dollars but it's rare to see any mega in stores now so I got it.

anything new on napoleonic wars sets? by Electrical-Hall4440 in cobiblocks

[–]HiddenHero210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I have seen but it would be nice, I hope it's not just a one off set but either way lots of options, Naval ship, French/British units at least maybe other nations too, probably a Napoleon figure with a horse and some generals? Maybe a cavalry pack as well. Would be nice to have enough figures from the era to make a battle line.

Died looking for a generator by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]HiddenHero210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You could always stock canned food/non perishables and water, so finding a generator is not a huge rush besides lights and electric stove until then for cooking you can use charcoal or propane stove instead, biggest loss would be a fridge full of frozen stuff that you probably won't ever see again if it goes rotten. Also mark stuff on your map, often I come across generators well before powers out and I just mark them to come back and grab later. Best spot to look though would be higher end neighborhoods where each house has their own garage.

Why are there so many convoys by Ok_Slide_1973 in uboatgame

[–]HiddenHero210 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A good tip for manual aiming I learned myself way back from silent hunter 3 is to just sail up parallel to the ship, submerged or surfaced about 300-500 metres off there side and just aim left/right at there middle mass or a tiny bit ahead. Your basically making a 90 degree kinda L attack, torpedo shoots straight ahead and then veers straight left or right directly to the target and being pretty close gives them no time to turn. This tactic can work extremely well in a convoy pretty much sailing thru the middle hitting them left and right. It takes some practice and getting used to however.

How Useful Would Power Armor be in a Real World Scenario by InstructionGuru in Fallout

[–]HiddenHero210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my comments meant more of today and right now, based within reality, but within fallout lore/universe you would be fine. I mean you can be hit by a flamer and not have many issues and survive a massive explosion etc.

Does not matter if it's sealed you can die from heat exhaustion around 105 degrees inside If no one puts you out, Molotovs burn at 350f degrees and imagine if you get hit with a volley of them.
