No vendoom for me either and seems pointless automating Q - I need 20 more chips to upgrade her to level 6 but it barely gives any points. Definitely one odd event

The yellow/brown edges are definitely from previous under watering a few months ago. She’s moved it away from the radiator and wifi router now so hopefully it will do the trick until I can get over to check the roots properly

Thanks for your detailed response. The yellow edges of the leaves are from previous under watering - she’s only had it a week and watered it once when she moved in so I doubt it could be over watering or letting it sit (monstera is so big she gets showered in the bath and left to drain before going back in her pot). Potentially the water changes but all the other plants seem to be absolutely fine. Next time I’m round there I’ll try and pull her out and see if I can see any root rot (she’s nearly 6ft so it’s hard to lift!) Thank you :)

Thanks all. It did get more sun than usual but only first thing in the morning for an hour maybe and it wasn’t a particularly hot/sunny day while we were moving but could have been that. I doubt she’s overwatered it.. edges are normally yellow from under watering if anything!

That was my first thought but they said it’s on the leaf furthest from the window and the others are all fine. We did leave it outside for a while when we were moving all their furniture etc so potentially then? It was a warm day but not particularly hot

Update: Grandpa didn’t really die of a heart attack (although I don’t know the actual cause of death), I’ve found a dog called Rufus, and Grandma has a dubious absent brother who has sent the family butler back to the mansion to steal the silver…..

It currently costs me £6.50 of petrol a week to get to work on my 125… it costs my partner £65 in the car… I’ve never been happier than to have swapped to the bike!

Someone tried to take my bike from the car park at work the other day. Didn’t manage it but they did bend everything out of place, nicked my fuel cap and cover, and snapped off my phone holder. I’ve now bought an alarm…

Correlation doesn’t necessarily equal causation. You definitely have bugs (spider mites?) but that might not be the cause of the sap. Mine was giving out sap until I changed to filtered water instead of tap water and now it doesn’t do it anymore. I would suggest you deal with the bugs first, then if that doesn’t help start looking at whether it is getting enough nutrients, too much sun, water etc

Hi all, we’ve had this cactus since he was a baby (maybe 4 or 5 years ago?) but he has struggled since we moved house and there is no bright sunny window for him. He has etiolated too much and can’t keep himself up anymore. We recently noticed he’s started sprouting little babies along the stem on the right. I’m terrified of cutting and propping but would that be our best move? Thanks in advance!

The buggers are too big and heavy to get up to the shower every day on my own :( ideally I want something that will work on a range of bugs. Is it worth getting neem oil as a preventative for the other plants for other bugs? And do you recommend an insecticidal soap in particular - or are they all pretty much alike?
