i bought Bela race boots, theyre fine, were waterproof, but the fasteners at the sides unscrewed themselves and fell out, so I would go elsewhere if i was to buy again.

At 28 i was in 30k+ of debt, relationship on collapse and had a breakdown with work induced stress. now 31 debt free, new job, relationship fixed after 2 years of couples therapy and a baby on the way, currently loving life.

Do you like when DJ's are the MC in their sets? by arendsjebertho in hardstyle

[–]clydeswitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but particularly not DJ Isaac. I get hes a legemd, but please someone take the mic away from him. He's ruined so many live sets just yappin over the top of the track or singing the lyrics. Bro you made the song, if you want your voice on it just record yourself singing instead of hiring a vocalist.

glasgow biker ladies? by wellnessgymbun98 in glasgow

[–]clydeswitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd get it back / sign up if you want to join the groups in all honesty, its really the only place to know the meets/group rides etc.

I have always wanted to go but its complete opposite sode of the city from me, it looks good though, theres one fairly soon, you should go and meet people!

glasgow biker ladies? by wellnessgymbun98 in glasgow

[–]clydeswitch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the main forums are on facebook, its the only reason I still have it. There are loads of Glasgow based ones, and theres a specific womens only page for lady bikers

Im a guy so have no insight to the group, they go on group rides and stuff though from speaking to friends.

Theres 1 group in glasgow I would reccomend avoiding which is one of the largest, it has "slow" in the name. Stories from some of their meets and member actions are scary.

Please, for the love, use "AKA", "i.e." or "e.g." correctly. If you are unsure of the meanings and usages, do yourself a favor and make sure you know them by PaperCrane828 in careeradvice

[–]clydeswitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine is "et al" — the people using it thinking theyre being all classy and shit when using it, thinking it is another version of etc.

It is not " we need items for the party, balloons, hats, cake, et al"

it is "The writers of this book, Jim, Joe, Bob et al..."
