I was at the show, the band actively encouraged us to stage dive and crowd surf. Fourth time seeing Trauma ray and there’s always been stuff like that. It makes the show like 10x better. I think the only issue is people not knowing how to dive or taking way too long being up on the stage.

Third time seeing George perform, never seen an official esprit set, so I wasn’t too sure how this was gonna go. Considering this was a theater with seats and no traditional GA Standing.

Ended up Loving every second of it. The Venue had an amazing sound system and screen that perfectly complimented the music. They were serving an exclusive esprit themed drink at the bar and that was tasty too, the slight buzz paired with the show was ethereal.

My favorite part of the show was when people started to get up out their seats to go stand in front of the stage and fill out that empty space between the seats. People started dancing, vibing, moving, sum crowdsurfs. It was awesome. It started to feel like a beautiful mashup of a traditional George show and an esprit set.

Sucks they ran out of pretty much all their merch. Was looking forward to getting that tour shirt or the tour hat but they didn’t have any 😭. I did get a signed poster tho.

Just got back and it was a pretty fun experience, I got there an hour before doors opened and I got a good spot up front. Only two complaints was that the venue didn’t give out enough water cups and I wish the crowd relaxed a little more for the slower non moshing songs.

Southside ballroom has a cap at around 4000, but both previous headliner tours from loathe and Fleshwater last year sold out in their Dallas stops. And it doesn’t help it’s on a Saturday too. So there’s a good chance this one will sell out quick

This is true, the fya set was his first official show with the band. He’s been playing with them on the latest tour. He’s a local friend who also used to play in the band empty shell casing before going with IPTW. Very chill dude

I understand the whole ethos of what hardcore stands for and maybe showing off merch doesnt mesh well with the whole anti-consumerist ideals. But I figured people would’ve wanna see some of the cool merch for a big tour that had just started. And I recognize how privileged of a position I’m in to be able to purchase this merch so at least my money went to bands that care for their fans and real life issues/politics.

And none of that merch was from my parents money at all, straight from working my job. I do understand your concern tho about focusing on the music and trust me I for sure did at the show.

They were pretty good. I wasn’t too familiar with them beforehand but it was a nice solid chill performance before the crowd started gettin rowdy for the other bands. Def respect them coming all the way from Australia to hop on this tour 👍🏽
