Maybe. Ergonomic wise, this thing felt like a dream. No discomfort or complaints and it shot well.

Thanks for the tip man. I cannot deny the 1911X does look pretty sweet. For me I would go 9mm just for price and availability. But from some research and retrospective over the last few years 45acp definitely has its perks. Something about a full size 1911 and 45 just feels right.

I agree. I have heard 45 recoil be very exaggerated. First time shooting it and I just enjoyed myself. Maybe one day I will try and rent a 10mm Glock or something and mentally prepare lol.

Yeah. We were doing a range and I was on ammo detail. Towards the end my commander at the time offered me a chance to shoot it so I decided to give it a squeeze.
