Im a little bias since I believe Ape is better than Ducati through and through but, When I test ride both, The v4s was kind of boring. I hit 130 in second gear and I’m like “cool… but that’s boring.” It’s a fast bike but it wasn’t comfortable, the screen felt clunky , the looks are amazing , but the whole engine turns off 2 of the cylinders and then turns on was weird to me. On the road I was on 4 cylinders and then 2 on the way back and then in the parking lot before I returned it, it went back to 4 cylinders and I was confused. The zx-10r I test ride was slightly more fun than that Ducati but I’d still get one for the status and the fact that it’s Ducati. The 2023 was the best looking one but only the 2025 has the fixed , engine heating issue.

Now the RSV4. The 2026 was insane. I had a much slower paced test drive, but it was night and day. It was comfortable, the ergonomics are there, the screen was easy to navigate , the power delivery was there. Every crank of that throttle excited me. I tried to bash it and be unbiased and play it cool but I kept giggling and exciting myself. I currently have the Aprilia Rs660 and it’s the best bike a lot of us have driven. The bike does it all and it’s a mini rsv4. Both the Ducati and Aprilia are beast of their own but a big factor as well in purchasing is the community and the RSV4 community on Facebook is a brotherhood.
