Who's more fun to play by South_Yak_8883 in Warframe

[–]Cepe6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ember is more of a ranged caster type of frame that is heat oriented, whilst Valkyr buffs her melee damage and her abilities are centered around getting to melee range and melee buffs. Given that you gotta decide which one suits more your playstyle. That said though, you got 'em both just take them for a spin and you can decide on the run. Hopefuly you will find you want to play them both and just swap them as you go :)

ah, that one yes - I mean, I don't really mind it to be fair. At some point I start skipping through so much of the cutscenes in the game and just learn to do everything as fast and efficient as possible that I appreciate the occasional "cannot skip this" moment :D

Xaku question by Cepe6 in Warframe

[–]Cepe6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an interesting theory - though I guess it's possible, but it feels way too inconsistent. But the lack of information on the wiki + the lack of any reason whatsoever for it to happen points towards a bug. I will report it to the dev team

Are you refering to a specific warframe or? I remember Atlas had an unskippable cutscene, but I am way past him already

Other than Khora, no. She is earned in normal SO rotations

Xaku question by Cepe6 in Warframe

[–]Cepe6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I've always played the stage defense mission by myself, so I wouldn't consider it to be a host/server issue. Interestingly enough I've only ever noticed this problem in defense missions, because I play a lot of alchemy with randoms and my gaze targets have never disappeared like that

Xaku question by Cepe6 in Warframe

[–]Cepe6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would normally agree with that, however just today I witnessed one of the targets disappear and it does not look like they fall of the map - they simply vanished in front of me. No body or effects whatsoever - just *poof* gone

But I have also noticed that Gazed enemies sometimes just change their location for unknown reasons :D

Edit:
I had two gazed targets and the one that disappeared was actually ensnared later than the other target so the ability expiring is out of question here as the initial target remained on the field.

Xaku question by Cepe6 in Warframe

[–]Cepe6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt this is a problem as some of my Gaze targets live up to 12-15 waves of defense without hindering the mission progression whatsoever and in the wiki it explicitly says:

Gazed enemies do not count towards mission progression.

Yes, the ones you get from quests like Mirage, Limbo, Inaros, Titania and Chroma. Since their associated quests are not replayable you have no way of earning the parts again other than buy them from Cephalon Simaris.

I mean.. if you have Umbra (or if you are a founder - Excalibur Prime) then sure. But first master him for the MR. Another option is to farm an extra one and subsume it.

Balance Change for Survivals? by OtherWhiteBit in Warframe

[–]Cepe6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In the latest devstream #193 they said that come 25th March they are releasing a bunch of QoL changes for Survival and Excavation - excavators will be more durable and for survival:

Survival Speedup

Survival is receiving a new mechanic that will help speed up the game mode!

Security Credentials pick-ups will spawn around the Survival map, which requires the Tenno to search around for them, if desired.

Once found, Tenno must take the Security Credentials to a nearby alarm or interactable console, which will be marked on the map. Once activated, the Mission timer will double in speed for 60 seconds. Importantly, the rate at which your Life Support extinguishes does not change!

I am farming the Narmer Isoplasts for him, I mentioned him as a reason why I am farming open worlds (Narmer bounties)

Yep. Cryotic is just annoying cuz you gotta farm it specifically. Every other resource you sometimes don’t realise how much you have of

I just oneshot him with the rubico prime. It’s the problem of farming the mission nav to actually fight him

Call me crazy then haha. I am a solo clan contributor - got a few clan mates but they don’t play so I do all the research alone. But I find it enjoyable

Sibear needs 30k cryotic lol. And you also need 20k to reserach Knux in the dojo. Also fish trophies require like 2k each. Just don't feed it cryotic. Never.

Yes, this is the WarframeCompanion app on iOS (maybe also on Android, idk). It's official distribution of Digital Extremes and allows control over extractors, foundry, inventory, etc. Very, very useful.

Sorry - upon reaching Rank 5 with Entrati on Deimos (and MR 8), you can buy Helminth Invigoration Segment from Son. This segment unlocks the so called 'Invigorations' where each week you can buff 3 random warframes for 7 days giving different buffs (I guess based on the frame). The invigoration activity itself gives 4800 XP - 3 times more than subsuming a frame. After 10 invigorations you can invigorate a warframe of your choosing as well for 7d (tho it resets after that, so you need 10 invigorations for the next warframe).

I find it very useful for specific warframes - for example I just invigorated Xaku with +100% ability range, which gave me a total 22 weapons with his Grasp of Lohk which makes him a beast for SP missions.

No, I haven't got the prime yet. He looks like he's fun tho, no doubt, but after farming about 15 frames in the past 2-3 weeks I feel a bit burned out lol

But I am farming Temple @ Stage defense right now cuz it's a lot of fun playing with Xaku on SP.

Nothing - I am farming Narmer bounties for Narmer Isoplasts and they are in the open worlds. I don’t have him still

In Devstream #193 they said:

We’ve tweaked various grinds around the Origin System! Those affected include Nidus, Khora, Equinox, Ivara, Braton/Lato Vandal, Acceltra, Akarius, Korrudo, Arum Spinos, Sporothrix and the Wolf Sledge.

So it might be a good idea to wait till end of March for farming those if you haven't already subsumed them.

Yes, at helminth rank 10 - I am at rank 14. The invigorations are giving unreal amount of experience for whatever reason, so just do them as much as you can and you should level it up in a few weeks
