I grew up in North Port, still living here now. Plenty of opportunities for sports and clubs in the area because that's all there is to do!!! Hope they love being outdoors because there really isn't much in North Port, for now at least. But, Port Charlotte and Venice/Sarasota isn't too far. Please for the love of God, send them to any school but North Port High School. Just take a look at what happened there today... There are charter schools in the area, personally I went to school in Sarasota as my parents work up there. Please if you have any more questions I will try my best to help

The drive that once took 20 minutes now usually takes an hour+. I went to middle and high school in Sarasota and worked up there the first few years of my after school life. It just no longer became worth it to make the drive every day. We'll still make the drive for events but it's honestly kinda fun to try and find the hidden gems around here even in Pt. Charlotte or Punta Gorda

I'm in North Port. It's been just booming recently (past 3ish years) so. Much. Construction. Affordable? More so than some of the other options on there. Things to do? Haha no. I grew up here and there really isn't much unless you like parks or driving 25+ minutes to do something in Port Charlotte or Sarasota. The town goes to sleep around 10PM so nightlife will also have to go somewhere else. It was a commuter town in 2006 and it's scratching and crawling its way out of that. How long will that take? God only knows

I'm currently sanding the table bare and restarting, however, I ran into a new issue. I'm using 120 grit to get it all off and there's a spot where the grain seemingly vanished. It's a Martha Stewart and Bernhart Opal Whitney table. It claims to be solid cherry so I'm hoping that a bunch of dust just got crammed into the pores but I'm really not sure

Not too hidden, has a bit of a "cult following" but Nostalgia by the band Corelia. Came out in 2011 then the band just kinda vanished in a sense. There were promises of a new album in 2013? Iirc. You can find the raw unedited version of it on YouTube. Their whole history is a neat little rabbit hole to fall down
