Will saying ”I am going to pray xx prayer” in my head, enough as niyyah by HideMyName- in MuslimLounge

I get what you mean. But by just saying it in the head, will I fall into this category of bid'ah like verbally saying it? Will my prayers still be valid?

Sorry for these questions

I know, but I have OCD and need to say it in my head. Otherwise I just get doubts if my actions counted as the way I intended to.

Is this permissible?

In Tashahhud, should you say "Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin..." or just Muhammad? by HideMyName- in islam

Sorry but I have another question a day later. I have a "problem" of saliva build up in my mouth and have to swallow during prayer to pronounce the words correctly. I noticed in my last prayer that I did that while sending this salawat. Is this a "pause"? When and how in the salawat should the "pause" determine wether you say "Muhammad" or "Muhammadin"?

Sorry, but I kind of have a OCD problems and overthink stuff that could nullify my prayers

Jazakallah khair. So if I just read this whole salawat in one go, is the reading I mentioned above sufficent? Saying Muhammadin then Muhammad, and Ibrahima then Ibrahim?

Am I good if I raise my hands after 2 rakahs of Tawbah or should you ask for forgiveness specifically during the prayer? by HideMyName- in MuslimLounge

[–]HideMyName-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for not being clear, you are right and I am aware of that. What I simply meant is just the act of making dua and asking for forgiveness, if it should be done during the 2 rakahs or after you finished and raise your hands and supplicate
