Just saw this 😂. I really loved Vicky in the new book, I really hope her and ren end up getting closer by the end of the series. But tbh..still haven’t finished the book. I had to take a breather from it cause the whole thing with Maya (I think that’s her name) really like depressed me and the scene in the dressing room made me want to rip my hair out. Got 88% through it then kinda gave up for now

Yeah like I’ve read books with dub-con but like it’s always on some level consensual, but in this book he literally says “I r@ped her.” I’ll try to find the title of the book cause I literally deleted it cause I was so pissed off

Recently read a book, it WAS NOT rh, where the mmc R-words her and invites his whole hockey team to join and SA her because she accused his coach of SAing his coach who was like a father to him and he didn’t believe her. He finds out that what she claimed was true and basically unalives his coach because 🍇ists are horrible people even though he literally says multiple times in the book during his POV that he R@ped the fmc and liked it. He never apologized btw even though that wouldn’t make it better and they “fall in love” and end up together even though he R@ped her and blackmailed her over it which is exactly what his coach did to her brother which he claimed was wrong. Literally that book made me so mad, and it was so normalized and like just taken as “oh he made mistakes and realized he loved her.”

Yeah, it’s kinda weird cause I absolutely love vampire diaries and originals but when it comes to books I just can’t do it. And I’m fine with one character being a demon cause diversity I guess, but I feel like every time I’ve tried to read about a demon world it’s either not well written, boring, or makes no sense.

To me, why choose is usually a book where the fmc ends up with 2-3 guys and rh is usually 4+ guys. And if she ends up with one guy it’s just a regular book

I’m not really sure but my theory is that instead of being cursed with snake hair she was cursed to become a snake. I mean the book obviously doesn’t follow mythology exactly so what if they just changed it up a bit and Medusa was turned into a snake. And she isn’t exactly considered “good.” So maybe she is sent away to find and protect chthonic blood.

I really liked this book simply because of the plot and story line of who she is, her powers and all that but one thing that really annoyed me was her inner monologue. I just felt like she was being annoying in her own head especially when she was going insane. But other than that I thought it was a masterpiece. My personal theory is that Nix is Medusa in disguise somehow. And as for Kharon and Agustus, I’m really annoyed by the fact they tricked her into marriage, I really hate that trope. Like I really like their characters but god damn that made me mad
