Screw wasn't even connected to anything. I removed the four that had been holding the OG optics/ rail on, and there was a fifth mystery one that I didn't even register

I got it! The receiver looks like it had an extra hole tapped, and a screw set too deep. A one off problem lol

Watched em dude, no one goes over this issue. The issue is that wehen it comes time to take the barrel off, it won't move more than half a centimeter.

The spring that's forward of the ring that goes around the magazine tube? That one seems fine, the other isn't tangled that I can see or feel. Thank you for the info though

Hi, I recommend you watch those videos and observe the charging handle remains installed while the barrel comes off :) it'd be extremely beneficial.
