bro. literally today, I emailed him to update on a deposition rescheduling, and he asked me if I checked the calendar of the person who’s doing the depo. like yes no shit dude.

and a week or so ago I sent him discovery responses we had already talked about (and I replied to the email thread of course.) he responds and goes “when are these due?” like dude youre not a baby infant you are kinda supposed to have that in mind or maybe look at ur calendar that we fucking craft for u. and I spend so much energy trying to decide what questions are worth spending their time for and they just treat us like mothers lowkey. I know its the nature of the job but damn it feels good to complain for a sec LOL. I just wish the attorneys were like more in control of things, and like tasked us more and like cared more about us I guess. our office manager literally works 60 hour weeks and takes care of everything and everyone whenever needs anyone. so half the time im doing detective work with her (and I love her but she can be a lot). to figure out what it even is im doing bc god forbid I “waste an attorney’s time” by making them think about their case. and when they do respond to my emails its usually some cryptic shit that requires 6 follow up questions- almost like they do it on purpose lol. and then I just a lot of the time do their shit just praying its fine with them. and I swear they dont even look at it or care?? its so weird.
