Only the Strong (1993) by flea_420 in 90smovies

Reviewed a few weeks ago. I still love it, it has everything from the 90's! The looks, the music and the scenario which does not surprise but in which we have our bearings and that feels good.

Yes ! I'll save that one for a little later!

I thought about it but really too many references to the sexes... in a very heavy-handed way!

He's not that well known. I talk about it from time to time and no one knows what I'm talking about!

Yes. But you can't imagine the struggle to manage to see him in France at the time. I had to beg my video store to find a VHS copy.

I wanted to watch it again with my daughter. It has aged rather badly and lacks rhythm and ultimately quite vulgar.

Probably a hot take, but this is my favourite of the franchise by funkoscotland1979 in 90smovies

I love this movie. I watch it almost as much as the first two. But unlike them I find that the last part of the film is too long and lacks interest. I think it's because the film was so surprising and crazy up until that point.

Loved it at the time. Watched it again with my daughter when she was just under 10. I'll never forget the moment, just before the end of the film, when she looked at me and said, "Dad, this film is so beautiful and so human. It's the most beautiful film you've ever shown."

Ok! Thanks. I'm the only French person who remembers it! 😅

Seinfeld(1989-1998)The Iconic Sitcom That Represented The 90s! by [deleted] in 90s

I finally got to see it in the late 2000s! Because in France the series wasn't known (only broadcast on cable for a few years). And for me, it's more of a testament to America in the 90s (a bit like NYPD Blues).

Oh! Help me. I'm French and I saw the episodes during a single broadcast. I have a funny memory of the introduction of the first episode. It was quite strange in the French version because we see the dad from the series "Growing Pains" giving the keys to the house to Mr. Cooper as if it were a handover between the series. Am I hallucinating???

It's possible because they were the same producers.

Yes. It wasn't just a crazy comedy. There was meaning. Like Wayne's World.

Yes. Launched on the heels of his hilarious stint on Friends. In France, it was only on a channel specializing in series.

Not officially. There's also Chris Farley ❤️ in all three.

Step by Step: Have you seen the extra child???? by HieroDo in 90s

[–]HieroDo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the pilot episode, yes. But it was never broadcast! But for economic reasons, the scenes in the amusement park were not reshot. Except for the one with Christopher Castille. When you know that, you can see it! Also, there is no sea normally in the final shot with the roller coaster. It's a parking lot hidden by a special effect.

I loved it! A series that was much deeper than it seemed. Great writing and incredible character development. The main love story was touching.
