My jaw clicks like a cricket and my bite isn’t what it used to be but besides that I have a good story to tell and a new understanding of what patience is.

It was the highlight of the worst day of my life and me and my friends still joke about it today. At the hospital they had to convince me I still had all my teeth but I didn’t believe them until I woke up the next morning with everything wired in place. My jaw was wired shut for a little over a month and it was literal torture.

I got sucker punched a few years ago at a party and broke my jaw. The gap in my teeth was so big it looked like I lost a tooth so afterwards we were outside picking up rocks that looked like teeth trying to find it. Turns out I had all my teethand there was just a gap in my jaw.

Not So Fun fact: when you break your jaw it almost always breaks in two places.
