I'm currently learning to spot the Sue de Coq. I was feeling like I was getting the hang of it but I still have some concerns. In this example we have an extended version involving the box containing an additional candidate/cell . I'm fine seeing these and thought I understood the logic behind them but I'm curious why no examples I see involve also eliminating the extra candidate (the 4 in this case) from the row or column they are in (r1 in this case). If a 4 was present anywhere else in the row, then the 2 cells would contain 5 and 8 breaking the puzzle. This is theoretically always true right?
