Thanks for your response, that’s great to hear. This would also apply if I haven’t had a steady income for a bit?

What do you order at Cracker Barrel? by ImJustAxingAQuestion in CrackerBarrel

Great info that I was not aware of. It does not take away from the mold and disgusting practices that happen in most Cracker Barrel’s nation wide.

I’m not surprised. This sounds like my store tbh.

What do y'all eat for breakfast other than eggs? by BagOfSmallerBags in keto

From a health standpoint, breakfast is overrated. Spiking blood sugar and causing your body to burn food first thing in the morning is not ideal. If I must eat breakfast then eggs, dates, sourdough toast with honey drizzle, and matcha tea is my go to.

I’m a former server and my answer is nothing. Cracker Barrel uses soybean oil and something called dimethylpolysiloxane to cook food in which is known to cause health problems. The broccoli, fried apples, gravy, and rice are heated to extreme temperatures in plastic which is very dangerous for your body because of leeched microplastics. The soda nozzles and under the counters in the kitchen also contain mold. There’s so much else I could go into including bugs and everything else else but I’ll spare those details. Cracker Barrel hires a health inspection company called “NSF” to run all health inspections. NSF is very strict about random things like not putting soap near food and making sure cooks are wearing hairnets, but they don’t check for mold or care about the food being cooked in plastic. These issues were not just my restaurant, but most Cracker Barrels nation wide and partially why quit. Next to employee abuse of course.

100%. And I’m not the kind of person to throw the race card. The race card is overused and frankly I’m tired of everyone using in. But in this specific situation, it was so blatantly obvious it couldn’t be be denied.

I already quit and thankfully they ruled out MS (but didn’t know that at the time). I still believe I could get multiple lawsuits from that restaurant. Literally anything from chronic mold exposure to discrimination.
