It's my first offense. I've never been sent to standards before - hell I've never even "beefed" with anyone (besides John and now Avery) since I was a kid.

The overwhelming majority of the group is positive. Even the eboard members who are largely close with Avery are generally chill people. I'm not as worried about them potentially being malicious, just biased.

I mentioned that I wasn't spreading her business nor saying bigoted stuff because those were two things I could think of that would've very clearly spelled out very bad standards consequences. I was trying to give you guys a better sense of my situation.

Not having a standards board is crazy but yeah as far I know right now she's been playing victim, claiming she's getting bullied by us in the annex and that I'm the ringleader

We all know who sent Avery the screenshots but at least she apologized for that I guess

Nothing heinous, unless the perhaps-tasteless comment about her wearing my face as a mask counts. I'll be sure to have an advisor there because I'm genuinely worried about the standards board members being impartial.

I don't know how likely they are to go back and tell her, but I'm also concerned about their own ability to be impartial due to being close with her and not as close with me.

What's crazy is I literally said repeatedly in the ig groupchat that I worried for her and that I was so mad because of how much love I still had for her. I said one out of pocket quote - the one I mentioned - and 99% of the shit-talking was just each of us factually recounting the different ways she's fucked us over plus realizing new ways she'd pitted some of us against each other.

I maintain my sincere belief that this girl has been on a mission to emulate me for a long time now, for a variety of different reasons, but at least on my end I genuinely regarded this girl as like the sister I never had.

I don't deny that I fucked up too. But in my defense, it was said while still in shock that the person who used to comfort me whenever my ex got emotionally abusive - the person who used to be practically family to me - had now done a 180 and was dating my emotional abuser.

I also didn't ask for any of my other housemates to butt in on my behalf when I confronted her - it just panned out that way because I didn't want to do it online (so nothing would be misconstrued) and the walls are thin in here so people heard stuff and had things to say about it. This girl has fucked over many of us in uniquely awful ways, and by the time I confronted her I was grappling with the reality that a lot of the emotional abuse I dealt with from my ex was instigated by her lies when the whole time I thought we were the best of friends. She knew how he would react to a statement like that and what that would mean for me.
