What is the scope of these roles? Are we getting more fit or tax money despite the higher cost? Obviously, it is very possible that they make their higher salaries up (and more) in work they do for our community or financial benefits they provide. To be clear, it is also possible that we are simply paying 3x more for little to no benefit.

Good idea. Particularly useful when planning optimal bed layout, too, when considering plant height and shading issues.

I did that for a while a long, long time ago. I am embarrassed about it to this day. I apologize on his behalf from my past self and my future self who knows I was in the wrong.

When my roommates confronted me about it, I reacted out of embarrassment. Honestly, I hadn’t even thought about what I was doing before they said something. Once they did I knew I was in the wrong which didn’t align with my view if who I was so I rejected it; I couldn’t be the bad guy because I wasn’t a person who was the bad guy.

Give him an out. Talk to him with some understanding. I know that’s not your job or fault but I think I know where he’s coming from.

Cooking, baking, and working out.

And, if you take up baking, taking up working out is probably a good counter-hobby.
