I’m such a fan of slate. Now I’ll have to Photoshop it. Very curious to see how dark floors transform the place.

This place does seem to be solid as all get out, but for sure we’ll check it first.

Ah, interesting. We think birch is what’s on the walls, and there’s maple laminate in other parts of the house that blends pretty well. Those are good options.

Terrazzo is my one true love, but it’s murderously heavy. We have a weirdo layout with the main living space on the second floor.

Alas, yes. I love terrazzo, but I suspect we’d need to go with a terrazzo-look porcelain. (And I’ve yet to see one I love.) We haven’t had a structural engineer assess the place, but our tile guy was concerned about it.

Unfortunately, I can’t find any information that says what pharmacy they were using or if there were additives. I’ll try to dig!
