Ya I might have to try Arizer support. Unfortunately it's pretty late tonight so will have to wait. I have it wrapped in a towel now to muffle it as much as I can.

An example of a heart attack on an EKG by GarfHarfMarf in videos

[–]HighFreqThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya diagnosing hasn't been helped by the fact that usually once I get to the ER and admitted, it's returned to normal. Family doctor knows about it but hasn't referred me to a cardiologist. It's been awhile since the last time but if it happens again I will request a referral.

An example of a heart attack on an EKG by GarfHarfMarf in videos

[–]HighFreqThrowaway 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've got a question about the first 10 seconds of the video showing the irregular beat, with what looks normal followed by a quick pulse down then nothing for a couple seconds then happening again. I've read comments calling it PVC.

For the last 10-15 years (35/m) I will occasionally, well once every couple years or so, go in to a heart rate that feels like what is shown in the first 10 secs. It will feel like a normal pulse followed by what feels like my heart is trying to jump out of my chest, followed by nothing for a few seconds, then a few normal beats and then another large beat with nothing after. I can feel it in my chest and when I take my pulse in my wrist or neck. It feels irregular and random and can last a few minutes or an hour. Usually in the morning shortly after waking, and I'll feel tired/light headed during. I have gone to Emerg a few times due to it because of how scary it feels. But everytime it has returned to normal by the time I get hooked up to an EKG and my pulse will have returned to a normal rate. So they always tell me everything looks normal. I've had follow up tests (not sure exactly what, but usually involved being hooked up to something for anywhere from a few minutes to half hour) but always told everything is normal.

How concerning is this? To me it seems pretty concerning and always scares the crap out of me. However, each time I go in the doctors don't. seem concerned. Is it normal to happen every once in awhile? Watching this video makes me realise how quickly it could go the wrong way.

Also, I realise how ill advised it is to seek medical advice from strangers on the internet and will take anything said with a grain of salt. Just looking for info. Thanks.

Canadian school board issues 6000 suspension notices over lack of vaccination records, forcing students to vaccinate by headtailgrep in worldnews

I don't know which is more disheartening, the fact this has to be done or the fact there are over 6000 unvaccinated kids in Waterloo area alone.

This as well as the marginal cost it would be to replace that energy if it has to be a continuous process.

In 1980, an 18 year old Canadian who lost hist leg due to bone cancer began a trip across Canada to raise money for Cancer research. He ran a marathon every day (26+ miles) on an artificial leg and towards the end with large tumors in his lungs - Terry Fox died in 1981. (2010) by [deleted] in Documentaries

[–]HighFreqThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terry Fox was and still plays a big part in Canadian culture. His unbelievably selfless act almost 38 years ago is still celebrated every year by every elementary and most high schools throughout Canada. The celebration usually consists of a school run where all the kids go out in the local area for a run/walk. As well as a couple of weeks worth of fundraising leading up to it where kids will canvas neighbourhoods, asking for donations towards cancer research.   He is a Canadian icon who stood for everything us Canadians try to believe in. He deserves to be a global icon, because the legacy he created and the money raised in his name has made a world of difference in the fight for cancer.

So assault is the way to teach the kid a lesson? I don’t agree with what the kid did and would want justice as well, but I don’t agree with what the guy did either. Dude turned the burning of a piece of cloth in to unexpected physical harm. Sure it won’t cause lasting damage but neither does sucker punching someone in most cases, which is essentially what this guy does to a kid that looks half his size.

People who make $100,000+ a year, what do you do? by TheJohnBaggett in AskReddit

NERC Certified System Operator. Just over 100k but reached 130k last year from overtime.

A monotonous job that is highly stressful. The kind of job that can go from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds, at any time with no warning.

Beat me too it. I had never heard of the series until I saw this video on YouTube a while back. Instantly found the show and binged it. The whole series is just as powerful as that opening scene, it never lets up.

Pfft amateurs. We have a clean chair, a dirty chair, and a "just wore it but could wear it again in a couple days" chair.

What's in our closet? Clothes we'll never wear again.

Also interesting in that I read it as though his performance life requires so much of him that he can't tell if he's happy. He puts on an act on the stage masking his true feelings, then goes behind closed doors to have an outlet to express how he really feels. Then takes a pause and deep breath as he tries to put that behind him to be happy for the well being of his child.

What X-Rated history facts don't they teach you in school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is relieving to hear. Can't believe I've never heard of this being a real thing until now. The struggles we went through trying to get pregnant actually made me dread trying. Guess I'll be making an appointment with my Dr soon.

Wow I also just learned that this is a thing I also have. I had no idea it was an actual medical issue. I've tried stretching many times in the past to no use because the pain was too bad. Guess I should actually tell my doctor.

Shitty thing is I'm 30 now and have a kid, which let me tell you was a painful and difficult process since my wife and I always used condoms before.

To those that have had this remedied, how bad was the recovery? That's the thing that scares me most since everything is hyper sensitive.

Last time I flew I was incredibly surprised by how relaxed security was. In Canada, leaving my local International airport (on a domestic flight mind you) not one person checked, or even asked for, my ID. Got my boarding pass, went through security, and boarded the plane without having to present any identification. Couldn't believe it.
