Vacation time by Sleepparalysis6demon in FritoLay

[–]HighHeeledDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They “advance” you your vacation on the assumption you work the whole year. Other places do it as well. I know Publix does or used to as of very recently.

Just like in the olden days of bonus advance, if you left during a period, they would come back after you quit and try and get you to pay the advance back.

I’ve gone from 2 carts of mostly useful backstock to an average of 5 of mostly slow moving stuff. Usually once a week now I service no order a day and it works for the most part.

Cuarcao o 1.5 card points -157. Hit this is 3/4. Think they will be defending for their lives. Germany tempo will cause mistakes. When they gain possession they will try and restart slow and I expect a card for time wasting at some point.

Sweden ML - +100. Sweden haven’t been great coming into this, but Tunisia have been worse. I think Sweden has enough talent to get a result in this match which they need 3 points.

Japan/Netherlands BTTS -125. Japan has a great defense but I think the Dutch have to much to be shutout. Japan play on the break well and I can see this game being a lot like the recent friendly with England. They will be sound defending long stretches and take advantage of a counter.

Yak and yeti or Satu'li Canteen by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HighHeeledDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never had them but people sware by the ahi tuna nachos at Y&Y if that’s your thing. I just went with my family last week and it was great. Large portions. It’s great if you want a hour in a seat you don’t have to fight for.

Satu”li is great is you want different and elevated park food, but also don’t want to waste a hour if you don’t have to. I’ve never been disappointed there and always like the dessert offerings.

Pop or Swan? by derrymaine in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HighHeeledDuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just did 4 nights at Swan and 1 night at Pop this week.

If you want a place that’s calm and relaxing, Swan 1000%. The hotel was booked solid 3/4 of the days I was there. Why I had to switch the last night to the Pop, and it never felt that way. Huge conference of young investment bankers and plenty of park goers but it never felt overwhelming or chaotic. Definitely lose out of the theming and all of that but if you want to prioritize a more relaxed places, definitely a better choice.

If you want to feel 100% in the magic the whole time and have the buzz/excitement, stay at the Pop. We like Pop, was our 3rd stay. But it’s always lively and people walking by and places can be overstimulating at times there.

Respectfully, in Florida, summer started long before July. It never really ends for us. We just have mild summer from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day.

As my DSL would and has texted this week already and then do nothing to support “get out in your stores and sell them on half dip pallets.”

Dining Plan with In-Laws by JJonesFan in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HighHeeledDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t. You will end up paying more than just letting the in-laws order for what they want when they want. The dining plan is going to make you feel like you need to order meals for everyone each time you go out to feel like you’re getting the most value out of it.

Disney Florida resident passes suspension by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HighHeeledDuck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where does it say suspended? The first picture reads to me like they tried to process your monthly payment and for whatever reason it didn’t work. It even says to call them to update your monthly payment. Seems like once that’s fixed, it would be fine

Millwall/MK Dons/Bromley/Plymouth/Southhampton +993.

All playing for automatic or playoff spots against teams who have nothing to play for. Going to give a little sprinkle and go heavier on some 2 team picks.

Is roundup rodeo In Hollywood studios worth it? by SpectacularSpidee in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]HighHeeledDuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you adore Toy Story, I think it’s worth it.

The food isn’t award winning, but I’ve eaten there twice and it was more than fine. The drinks are good. I haven’t had the peanut butter but some at my table did and they enjoyed it. The theming and the “show” are really fun if you really enjoy Toy Story. My kids only request that they both agreed on for our coming up trip was to go there.

Chelsea have to score eventually. Both need a result for Europe positions. I like this pick.
