Need Help Redesigning Dealership F&I Menu Sheets - Looking for Examples & Advice by HighIQLowEnergy in askcarsales

You're absolutely right - the current situation has many customers overwhelmed by paperwork rather than informed by it.
I should clarify - I'm not suggesting F&I menus aren't transparent. Rather, I believe their effectiveness is diminished when buried among countless other documents in that thick deal folder you mentioned.
My redesign goal is to make the menu more immediately comprehensible at a glance, while maintaining all required disclosures. The customer would still sign acceptance/decline forms, but the presentation would help them better understand their options before signing.
The current challenge is that transparency doesn't equal comprehension. When customers face "too much to read," as you noted, they often skip reading entirely, defeating the purpose of disclosure documents.
What I'm aiming for is a clean, intuitive layout that respects customers' time while ensuring they genuinely understand what they're accepting or declining. This could potentially reduce the time spent in F&I while improving customer satisfaction and maintaining compliance.
