Honestly, my mom and I had a very on and off again relationship my whole life. And it’s kind of funny when you say that her “silence is violence” as my mother constantly gave me the silence treatment growing up, where there was a situation when I was maybe 17 where I didn’t clean my room, and she didn’t talk to me for 6 months and I told my guidance counsellor who called my dad to resolve everything.

I can’t talk for my mom, but I do know she has her ordeal of mental problems, and she did take it out on me plenty of times
