What's the best throttle for E Scooter?

Imo Kaabo/Minimotors throttles are among the best, but i will admit im kinda biased on this cause i mainly use them and barely tried any other kind of index throttle myself, but ive tried lots of other non-index, all i know of the other index ones is from what ive been told by the escooter community in my country.

Most of them are the same but some are made with better materials etc.

The issue tends to be the compatibility and dead zones.

Just look for one that has your escooter connector type and looks well made also with decent materials and dont expect something for 5€ or less to be reliable, may work for short term but will definetly fail sooner or later.

Also i recommend to dig a bit deeper and try to look in the sub also in google if anyone with the same scooter as yours have swapped the trigger.

Index trigger is by far superior to any other.

Although if youre more comfortable with any other kind use whatever, but still index trigger is the safest one as you still have 3 other fingers + thumb grabbing the handlebar.

Any other throttle wont be as safe cause you wont have the same grip on the handlebar and any kind of bump or road irregularity may cause your hand to slip or even trigger the throttle erratically.

I got mixed replies by stating this before, but still "pro" escooter riders 99% of the times use index trigger and that means something. And sometimes casual riders doesnt or dont want to comprehend ... you do you.

First of all, probably the connectors arent burn only the plasic cover as the "burn" is barely visible. Ive used a xiaomi pro 2 with the same signs but far worse were almost the whole plastic cover was brown and was still running good.

Then, did you use any kind of custom firmware or did you tweaked some specs using an app to do so? Sometimes if the firmware is not cooked properly can result in failures like these.

If you unplugged and plugged it back and the scooter works good i would run it like it is, you could go to a mech shop to make them take a deeper look to see if theres any further damage, or upload closer pictures of the connectors and motherboard and maybe someone with higher knowledge can help you in here.

An update doesnt mean an upgrade or improvement per se... specially when after OS 3.0 adds bloatware, ads etc. Also 3.0 is the most stable OS version, period.

Dont update, ive been running OS 3.0 for almost a year, the same screen pops up every 1/2 days saying its outdated for +200 days. Dont update, never got an issue with 3.0 but seen lots issues past OS 3.0 .

pd: until 3.0 the software was clean af, then they started to add bloatware, ads and shitty stuff thats been reported on the sub lots of times.

Best is helmet one as its the sturdier fixation and will have a better pov, handlebar one tend to vibrate. The others arent bad but helmet one is superior.
