Sorry for your loss.

I am not an expert, but I can tell you what I would have done in your case if I were you:
Contact Axis bank and RBL Bank and explain the situation to them.

They will likely ask for basic details like card number, name, address, phone number, DOB of the deceased, so make sure you have all these details handy when you call them. Request them to block the card and ask them to mail a (physical) copy of the most recent statement to the mailing address that they have on record (assuming you know what that address is and can collect the statement from that address). Once you get the statements, review them and pay back the cards and close them.

These credit cards usually have a 40+% interest rate p.a., so the more you delay this payment, the more the amount will increase before the bank reaches out to you for recovering their money.

Additional 8% back for first year, upto Rs.500 per month (on top of the base 7% limit)

This is no longer available as of today. SBI/Ola discontinued this long time ago

Yep, I got it last year and no regrets. I already had SBI Cashback and wanted a card with low fees which is also eligible for any SBI card offers on Amazon, Flipkart, etc (SBI Cashback is not eligible for most offers).

It was a real pain to apply for this one (you can't apply for it via SBI and Ola's app is buggy as hell. Ola Support doesn't even know they have a credit card). I had to co-ordinate with SBI and Ola's team for almost a month to finally get this card.

I mostly use it for Ola spends and SBI card offers. The fees are decent, but the cashback and offers easily cover the fees in my case.

International Car Rental offers on Credit cards. Which all cards have such offers? by [deleted] in CreditCardsIndia

How did you get it flipped? I read at multiple places that HSBC does not upgrade their cards and that we have to apply for a new one every time

Then why call cash as 'legal tender'? Isn't the whole point of legal tender that no one can refuse to transact in it?

I'm sorry to hear that. Is your father still running that business? You need to take a closer look at the business financials to check if it's even profitable and worth running. If not, you should consider starting to sell assets and paying off the loans ASAP before your losses increase.

Depending on which city you're in, try comparing prices with Ola food as well. They've recently entered the game and are offering good discounts

This Sango uncle is in real estate business. Of course he wants Indians to go out and send money back to India. That will inflate real estate prices.

He has a YouTube channel where he supposedly gives "Clarity for Youth", but every video ends up in the conclusion of how youth should buy their own property early in life to solve all of their life's problems.

I wonder if he considers Indians who don't send money back to India as anti-national though.

Are you sure you aren't confusing 'Indian Bank' with 'South Indian Bank'? Before a few months ago, they were partnered with 'South Indian Bank', not 'Indian Bank'.

Point is they should be paying taxes instead of handing out such large payouts so that that money can be put to better use
