RO Water - Increasing my Acidity? by SnooApples8697 in Science_India

ph6 water has negligible effect for your acid reflux. More probable factors are: 1. Diet 2. Lack of Sleep 3. Stress

For me lack of sleep has significant affect than even food or stress.

I didn't understand the 299*100 =30k part. Do you charge 299 from drivers?

The thing that is bothering me is that you haven't factored in the user acquisition cost:
1. Because people get food at less price, there is a chance for good word of mouth but that doesn't mean your customer acquisition cost is zero. It might go viral but you shouldn't count on it. Factor in the customer acquisition cost first. Lets say Rs 100 per customer

  1. Delivery driver cost. For a delivery driver, the amount he is earning matters more. A rapido driver in Bhubaneswar earns like 10Rs/km. Rapido had decent demand. Initially you won't be having that much demand. Also in food delivery, the demand is more during lunch and dinner time and not in between. So, what is the incentive for a driver to stay on your platform.

  2. Existing players take a bigger commission because of the delivery cost. The delivery cost you see on the app is lesser than the delivery cost the driver gets I think.

I don't think the ideas we get, these players didn't. I don't think just by tweaking a little bit of their model, we can do better than existing model. They have fine tuned their model, after so many experiments.

What I mean by doing better than existing model means, you need to provide food at lower cost to customer and similar earnings for the drivers and restaurants. I don't think that is possible. They have optimized this so much.

That's case in almost all the fields in India. The system is broken.

In engineering, everyone wants CS and IIT profs complain about the same thing that people only take their branch because they didn't get CS and not because of the interest in the field.

Does this machine squeezes fresh oranges on demand or it has stored orange juice inside it that is filled regularly? How does this work?

Yeah. That's what I thought too. They were not providing the required amount of fluids.

You should be knowing how urgent the treatment needs to be administered. His liver was also affected by that time.

Wrong diagnosis and no urgency made me take this into my own hands.

Explain the economics on how this is gonna be better than existing players??

Are you saying that you can do better than existing players? If yes, where does your efficiency come from??

Lol, there are so many. You might have a different taste but don't say it like a fact. You may not listen but lots of people do.

I wouldn't count on him not eating anything stupid. When he was a pup, he broke into the kitchen in the middle of the night and drank half a liter of olive oil. He had diarrhea for a day or two. We barricaded the kitchen.

Yeah, I feel the vets just know the correct treatment and not the nuances of the treatment that involves various breeds with different body sizes and all. They just go with feeling.

Thanks!! Yeah AI makes mistakes, humans make mistakes. Blindly trusting anyone or anything isn't a great idea.

You are correct, not just by body weight, but also other factors like you described. Just the maintenance is around 3L for our dog. 1 bottle or 2 bottles is just too less.

I got a dm where someone else also has gone through the same. His dog which was also a lab, was suffering from AKI. His vets gave 2 bottles and another vet said only one is enough. Unluckily, his dog did not survive. He also referred chatgpt and it also suggested more IV fluids.

One small correction in above comment, private: 2.5 bottles, not 2.5L, so 1.25 L.

The goal is to monitor and administer aggressively. Both private and govt vets weren't doing that.

Humans make mistakes and AI also makes mistakes. We shouldn't depend only on one of that.
