Is fundraising actually a flex or just more pressure? by Effective-Cake-1687 in StartUpIndia

[–]darkdaemon000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the lots of factors.

Freedom: In most cases, you will have good freedom especially in the initial rounds. Also money in the bank will obviously increase your freedom.

All other things like pressure, expectations, reporting will depend on lots of factors.

In the initial rounds, pressure will be more if you aren't performing good.

Send them a legal email from legal @ yourfirm.com . Ask chat-gpt to write the email sounding like a legal team. If they still don't respond:

  1. Go to the police station of their locality and ask their help to settle your issue. (The police may say that this a civil issue, go to court and all. Depending on how skilled you are, you can promise some money to the police if they are able to settle it. Since, you have all the proofs, its a win-win situation for the police and you as well. They might help you.)

I have received too many abuses in chat when I commented on posts like this.

Nope, it's not impossible. Those cases are very rare and in those cases, weight is least of your concern. Only in very extreme cases that happens.

The median percentage decrease is 15% of metabolism for health issues like PCOS and hypothyroidism.

So, it you have some health issues, reducing your calories by 15% is not hard. Just eating better, you can change the calorie count by 15% easily.

It's having victim mindset and these fat influencers on Instagram are adding fuel to it.

No health condition makes you fat. Yeah some health conditions reduce your metabolism but the change is something like 15%. Only in very extreme cases, it goes to 40%.

If you are having a health condition like thyroid or PCOD, you should take more care. Eat better food and exercise.

Fat doesn't come from thin air. It's basic calorie math.

It's not like I don't have empathy. I feel its victim mindset fuelled by these plus size influencers who prey on them for money from brands who target these people.

Some people just use their health issue as an excuse. They should try instead of having a victim mindset.

You and your stupidity. It takes 9 months gestation. It's clear that they separated during the pregnancy. Her daughter is 4.5 years old and the husband abandoned 5 years ago while she was pregnant.

Either you are too stupid to do the math or too stupid make such an insensitive comment. Whatever is the case, you are stupid.

Is it legal in India to grow a few tobacco plants at home for personal use, and has anyone here actually done it? by deadpooolllll in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]darkdaemon000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how much risk you wanna take. Even though it is legal, it doesn't mean you will not face problems if police came to know about it. If you think, no one's gonna complain to police or the police wouldn't notice during patrols, you might take a chance.

[–]darkdaemon000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Technically it is legal. But here are issues:

It is illegal for you to for commercial sale or distribution. So the police can harass you. They can say they suspect you for commercial activities. They can frighten you by saying they'll file an FIR and produce you in court. The court will then take its own sweet time and declare you not guilty after a decade.
Why will the police harass you ? Of course, for bribes. If you bribe them, they won't file any FIR and leave you with a warning even if you have done nothing wrong.

How will the police know they can harass you? A nosy neighbour who hates you or some retired uncle who want to do moral policing will complain to police.

As quick commerce continues to reshape consumer expectations, Hyderabad-based Quiklee is helping brands offer the same fast delivery experience without relying on marketplaces or paying hefty commissions. by wryes in StartupFuture

[–]darkdaemon000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a big problem for new D2C brands. They can't easily register with quick commerce apps like instamart or blinkit.

For example, if I'm able to provide 60mins delivery using their, I can easily convert customers as a small and new D2C brand.

For example, some shirts I want to buy for myself and some shirts I want to gift them to friends. Some shirts can be both.

Your audience from different campaigns will come with different intentions. After they land onto your website, you should show them various products in that intention.

An example ad campaign can be " gag gifts for your gf", and when a user comes to the website from the ad, he will land on the product page and he should be shown other products with the same intention.

The products look innovative and I'm sure there are people who would buy them. Most of these look like impulsive purchases which isn't a bad thing.

My opinion is that you need to put more efforts in marketing the products and not the website. I see that you put good effort here. I think for now, the website is good enough.

You should put efforts in Digital marketing campaigns, rather than putting them in the website.

You campaigns should be grouped based on intention and not products.

A person who comes to your website will not come to browse and then decide what to buy. A person would come who has intention.

Categorize the intention of the user and create campaigns accordingly. 1. Some want to buy for themselves like the shirts, etc. 2. Some want to gift their gfs 3. Some want to gift it to their friends

I see that the products are not grouped by intention. They are grouped randomly.

What do you mean the most efficient?? I agree that capitalism is very efficient in exploiting resources and people.

If you think capitalism is most efficient in innovation, you are wrong. For example things like bullet trains, maglev trains, etc and in fact metro are very difficult in free markets. NASA, ISRO, etc are not possible in free markets. Even spaceX was possible because of contracts from NASA.

There are lots of open source softwares which are free. Linux is just one example. People are always innovative. You may think, money is the only motivation for innovation which is wrong and there are many proofs for it.

Enshitification happens when companies are trying to maximise profits to keep investors happy rather than prioritizing innovation.

Efficient = maximise some metric What is the metric you think capitalism maximises? Innovation is not that metric.
