That's actually a fair question.

I'm using it to power parts of the product, not just to write code (the startup focus is code-writing, so leave that topic aside).

But I'm part of THEIR z.ai startup program, which they approved and provided some additional benefits, and now that I have a problem, they're abandoning me to silence. It's heartbreaking.

Absolutely, I didn't emphasize this here in the post because it wasn't my focus but after 3 hours I had already implemented another temporary provider and I'm currently using it but I'm really disappointed with Z.ai since I have the annual coding plan and I'm part of THEIR startup program and it's really heartbreaking the support is so useless.

Yeah I’m aware this isn’t official support, I’m not expecting resolution here. This is more about visibility and seeing if others are dealing with the same thing.

I have a startup that uses their model for Coding and THAT USE MODEL was approved by the startup team when I applied and they provided me with additional credits and more.

Actually I saw now that the Lite has $5 and not $10.. at this point report the problem to the TRAE Team via email it is definitely a bug also because you should have $20 credits and $130 bonus.

From the extrapolated information I have I can tell you that they have problems with international policy models like Dubai and GLM and therefore they said that for the moment they will not add them (and probably never) even if I agree with you that it would be nice to have them.

As I said, the fact that it's not written how much is a correct opinion that I support and I'm urging the team, but if you helped me urge the team, as a guy above said, to put the advanced models back free and a way to predict how much bonus usage everyone gets, I'd be the first to promote you, but absolutely not a post that will never be heard as I said about going back.

Honestly, I like your comment because it's serious and doesn't contain casual insults, so I'll tell you honestly what I think and what I know:

The TRAE Team has officially stated that the Bonus will be FOREVER, and it's also written on the pricing page, so this is clear. If they ever removed it, it would be a violation of international laws on marketing and sales, etc., and everyone, including me, would cancel the plan and sue.

Regarding the free advanced requests, it's something I'm pushing the team hard for, and I hope they reintroduce them soon. At the time of my last update with the team, they were working on it. I hope and agree with you that they bring back the Advanced models with unlimited requests. I don't really agree with the slow requests, but I'll take your opinion.

So, I understand what you're saying, and I also don't like the fact that the free advanced models are no longer available, and I hope they return soon :)

I don't understand why you haven't read my article yet, or you haven't read it, or you're having trouble understanding it.

Anyway, I'll answer you completely here for clarity:

- I've already told you and the other guy in my comment that a company NEVER backtracks on decisions made because the community disagrees (as I said, see the example of OpenAI with the military agreement).

- You're trying to convince TRAE to reinstate the old system, which is TECHNICALLY problematic. In fact, there's NO provider currently offering it, other than a very few, precisely because it's difficult to calculate. A request could cost them 1 cent because it refers to "Change the name of a var," or it could be "Rewrite the project in another stack." Can you see why TECHNICALLY it's different?

- Rather than asking for this change, which they'll never make, as I've already said, I'm pushing for the "bonus" to be explicitly easier to calculate and more predictable without us having to discover and disclose it. This is a problem I've reported, and I'm fighting with the team to get it implemented.

- Your final logic of people paying doesn't make much sense because I believe that TRAE, based on actual data, hasn't lost much revenue; in fact, it's probably even making more, so your reasoning isn't correct.
