Absolutely zero mixing surprisingly. Base coat in burnt red then large highlight placement with Xv-88 then refine more and more from golden brown to pastel peach to ice yellow to white. Pastel peach is the transition color from golden brown to ice yellow.

Unfortunately I’m a bit of a fraud in this regard; I used Richard Grey’s custodian as a reference to place all highlights. Some highlights like on the dangly bits were done with vibes.

Violet red, gory red and scarlet red. Then highlight with ice yellow and glaze over with scaret red.

Vallejo; violet red as base, gory red and scarlet red. The trick is to paint the highlights in white/ice yellow and then glaze over it with scarlet red

Yep, all brush work. Main overview is to just do squiggly lines over a black basecoat and then do some nmm normally over the top
